Asslaam-u-Alaikum!

Hello everybody welcome to this post that is very informative. Today a topic is very interesting module and one of my favorite topics. It is called as Workplace Ethics and Code of Conducts. If You want to be a leader. Have good work life balance and generally want to be successful in your carrier and in your life, this is the module that you need so much attention about it. Well, Friends if you are working as an employee or in any organization.

The agenda is what I have to be covering in this post in this module of Work Place Ethics:

Definition:

" Ethics is something either you have or you not have. There is no grey or black or there is nothing between in that. My dear friends Ethics is not something that can teach but something that you can feel and also the morals and principles."

Questions to keep in mind:

Certain questions that we need to keep in mind when we are faced to this particular having any doubt in a mind in terms of having do these things and do this behavior in ethical and not ethical. So, certain questions that we need to keep in mind are:

1. Is that particular thing is legal and fair? (If you stuck somewhere any kind of behavior asks yourself or
introspects of this question. Is it legal and fair?)

2.Will it hurt anyone? (If we do this particular behavior that is anybody going to be hurt by any action and behavior of
mine.)

3.Will it make anyone uncomfortable? (If I do certain things that anybody getting uncomfortable with it)

4.Does it convey respect for others?

5.Have I involved others by asking their view point.

Certain Reasons Why Employees are Fired:

All of us need to pay full attention on this particular segment because nobody getting fired at the work place .
Certain employees are fired because they are troublemakers. They got into lot of troubles at workplace meat with employees or bosses. Anything with regards to creating trouble with processes.
They often use offensive language at work place, you should not use any kind of abusive language. And you should not put people down by using way you use in your language.
You should also not follow or rather you should not do any things regards to following the law and order at the work place
Never ever harass others or tease others with regards to get the work down using your power, status and standard. So don’t tease anybody.
Doing or any kind of involvement in theft. So, stealing something at work place can be a reason you might get fired
And the last is incompetence. As an employee you are expected to be complete your work. So, you should not do anything to show at work place.

Now we will discuss some common ethics which every organization around the world today uses. So if you working for any kind of company or any kind of organization.

These are some certain ethics which you guys have to follow So, Let’s Understand

Punctuality:

The first ethic which people really have to follow or employees would have to follow is the punctuality. You need to be punctual at work place. What I mean to says that if you have a reporting time at 10am in the morning. Try to be there at work 15 minutes earlier. This shows punctuality. Also punctuality with regards you told your boss or manager that you will submit your particular report or assignments anything at all, make sure you get back to them within that time. It’s also called punctuality.

Responsibility:

Now employers really expect employees to take responsibility for their actions, and the work they are doing. So, never ever try to brush your hands off from your responsibilities and try to do as much as possible in responsible manners, and be a leader with regards to that.

Integrity and Loyalty:

People who have integrity, now we have another module regards to the loyalty. So, integrity is like something which is very close to people. So, people should show or rather the actions and behavior that they are integrity and they also have a lot of loyalty. Never ever share confidential data of the company or organization with outsiders, that’s a complete avoid. Make sure that you show with your actions and behaviors. Somebody who have a lot of integrity and somebody who have a lot of loyalty, people should be able to trust on your work.

Team Work:

The most important ethic is team work. You as an organizer or you as an employee will have lot of team members. Or you will be working in lot of team members. Everybody in a team has a different mindset so be a good team player. Never put any team member down and also try to help your team members. If you are going to help them. Next around when you need they will come back to you. So, be a good team worker, be a good team player. That’s very ownered and valued at work place.

Work Station and Cubicle Etiquettes:

Work Station clean and organized
Use dustbin, not litter here and there.
Turn off printers, lights and computer when you leave for the day.
Keep phone calls short, no loud ring tones at work station
Don’t use office land lines for personal calls.

Code of Ethics:

Work Place ethics serve as guiding principles that effective leaders use to set the professional tone and behavior. Leaders today all over the world set a certain code of words which they lead to be really used by the employees and these are
