While we want to explore anything the first question that came to our mind is how the thing is working. As I have already discussed what is SEO with you, today I will discuss how the search engine works? Like you can say what are the algorithms that are working behind this procedure.

Search Engine Works on Three Functions
Crawling
Indexing
Ranking
Crawling
Crawling is a finding process in which a team of crawlers finds new and updated content or material. The content can be of any type it could be an image, a video clip, a webpage, or a document file, etc this all is discovered by links.
In simple words, we can say that Googlebot's or crawlers start fetching web pages and then follow the links that are given on those web pages to find new links or URLs. And the new content is added to the Index (Massive Database) in which URLs are stored and retrieved when someone searches for it or relevant results.
Indexing
The index is simply dictionary storage. Dictionary in main memory in which all terms and URLs are stored i.e postings on the disk. I will show you a simple example of it here.
🙈 Of course, the index behind Google and other search engines are not that simple. 🙈
Anyhow this is the most important part of SEO as in indexing high relevant content is required and indexing is used for page ranking. 🤠So use the relevant content to your business or site for getting a good ranking.
Ranking
When someone searches on a search engine by entering any word the search engine results by relevance known as Ranking. In simple words, we can say that your website will rank higher if you have relevant content to the query.
