Today I will share some knowledge about SEO with you all. Hope you all will find it helpful.
As you all know we are moving towards the latest technology day by day. Online earning is becoming a more powerful tool nowadays. There are many ways to earn online. These all come under the umbrella of Digital Marketing.
As the picture above describes the word "Digital Marketing". Anyhow, we will not go into this much detail about it. In this tutorial, we will cover the basics of SEO.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization. It is used to increase both the quality and quantity of website traffic, as well as brand exposure, through non-paid search. It is also known as "organic" search.
SEO is about understanding what people are searching for online. Whenever you want to search for something you just type a general word and the search engine like google chrome automatically takes you to what you are trying to find. A big algorithm is working behind that but we will ignore that. 😉
When it comes to digital marketing we will see two types of searches.
1.Paid
2.Non-Paid (Organic Search)
Organic Search
Organic search is non-paid search results. In this search, content is ranked according to its relevancy according to the search. In simple words, we can say that when we are working on this complete field of organic search we focus on some main components.
I will conclude with a small example here. Just consider we are having a website of food corner or restaurant.

When we are making our business online we work on our website. After the website publication, we will wish that our website show to the customer each time he or she type for food. It can be through paid or non-paid search. In non-paid we will simply use some basic SEO components and make our site rank in the top 10 searches. But this is not that simple. Teamwork is needed behind that even you can work for that on your own by knowing SEO. In the last few days, SEO was not that difficult but now Google focuses on content a lot. We will not go into this depth right now. Our main focus in today's tutorial is just what is SEO and the basics of SEO. In SEO we will not just focus on "Ranking" and "Trafic gaining" we will see how to make the website user-friendly, how to use good keywords to attract the audience, and much more. First of all, we will consider the basics of SEO.
Basic Components of SEO
There are six basic components of SEO
- Keyword
- Meta tags
- Content
- Backlinks
- Social Media
- Product Image
