1.) REMOVE/DELETE TEMPORARY FILES

Now, many different applications we run on our computer create temporary files which are not needed once the task has been done, and to remove them you can follow the steps which I have listed below:

  • On your desktop, press Win + R. A dialog box will open up:

  • Here, search for %temp% and click Ok, it will take you to the destination where all your temporary files are stored which were created by your applications and different softwares. Since they are temporary they aren't required and you can delete them.

2.) HOW TO USE EMOJIS

This is a short and cool tip if you want to use emojis in your text documents, some article, or anywhere you like. Just press "Win + . (full stop)" and it will open a panel that contains different emojis and you can use them easily just by clicking on them.

3.) HOW TO SPEAK TEXT INSTEAD OF WRITING IT IN WORD

This is a useful trick and you can use it when you are just tired of typing text, you just have to run the command "Win + H" in Microsoft Word, and you can easily start speaking the text and it will start to write in your document.

4.) PASTE TEXT IN THE SAME FORMATTING IN WORD

There may be times when you want to copy something from the internet and it is not in the same formatting as you have used in your word document. To paste it in the same formatting as your word document, follow the steps:

  • First, open your word document. Navigate to the View tab and click on Macros.

  • Click on it and then view the macros you have. We have to create a new one to implement the functionality of pasting in the right format. To do that, add a new Macro named PasteSpecial or you can name it anything you like and then click Create.

  • After doing that, it will open a Code Editor.

  • After that, you have to add a keyboard shortcut that will enable this macro. In the "Press New Shortcut Key", enter the command Ctrl + Shift + V or any other command which you find suitable. Then click on Assign and close it.

  • Paste something from the internet and you will see that once you press this shortcut, it is pasted in the same formatting which you have used for your document.
