Crispy Potato Cutlets
In summer sometimes we want to eat light, crunchy and tasty, today I tried crispy potato cutlets also called alo ki Tikki. It's gone really tasty although it was my grandmother's recipe I modified it a little and tried it. Everyone likes potato cutlets and children also, my niece three years old requested to make, so let's start it.
Ingredients
• Two potatoes
• One onion
• Chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon
• Salt as required
• Pomegranate seeds few
• Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
• Green chilies 2
• Coriander few leaves
• Cumin 1/2 teaspoon
• Parsley
• Dried fenugreek leaves 3/4 teaspoon
• One egg
• Oli one spoon
How to make
Step 1:
• Washed the potato without peeling off and cut it into large pieces.
• Take a pan added water and pinch of salt-boiled potato until soft.
Step 2:
• Now grate the onion and green chilies.
Step 3:
• Take a bowl added boiled potatoes, grated onion and chilies, salt, cumin, coriander, parsley, pomegranate seeds( grind it), dry fenugreek, and chili flakes.
Step 4:
• Mixed it very well with hands no need to use any other thing.
Step 5:
• Now make Tikki or kabab the shape u like most, I made it rounded, one important thing does not make it too much thick; it does not taste well.
Step 6:
• Made all mixture kabab and kept for some time in the refrigerator, if you do not have enough time no worries
Step 7:
• Add oil in a nonstick pan and allowed it to warm. Keep flame medium.
Step 8:
• Take an egg and beat it well.
Step 9:
• Dipped the kabab in egg and dried it in oil till the color changed to golden on both sides.
• kabab is ready to eat.
