Yesterday, I made a post on d.buzz asking for inspiration. I had a few replies. One came in from twitter (via @wholeself-in) and that inspired me to write Caging the Flame which I posted earlier. Then I got three more replies on d.buzz! (How about that engagement!) So this piece was written out of all three of their prompts. It was a round about way of talking about people who use 3d printers. I envisioned them as supernatural beings coming to bless the world with this technology. I also felt a tinge of condemnation for the tech as many lament its use to make lower receiver assemblies for manufacturing rifles. So that was an aspect I tried to hint at.
Anyway, thanks to @holovision, @ahmadmangazap and @dbooster for your inspiration. Hoe you don't mind that I combined all of your ideas into one.
