It was a group effort!
This time of year, it only makes sense for us to get some serious lake time in. The carp are still available to bowfish, and the gar are now moving in, plus the panfish and bass are sitting in the shallows. In these photos you'll see three large carp I harvested with my bow, and a pile of panfish like Black Crappie, Red-Eared Sunfish, and Bluegills that the Little-Peppers and I caught. Living close to the lake is a huge bonus for us in our journey to become more and more self-sufficient, and it provides us with a lot of food. Also, plenty of skills are learned, memories are made, and fun is had down by that lake for us too! Enjoy the pics!
