Most of us look forward to the result. Yes, including me.
Aren't we calculate what we will get in the end, even before starting the job?
There's nothing wrong with it.
But what I'm gonna say will make more sense if you focus and understand the depth/impact of it.
Our action actually matters most than the result. Maybe you will be a successful one, or maybe you will fail. But what path you are choosing is what makes you different. If you hurt someone, choose an unethical path to reach your goal; you can still be successful but not a good human.
Just like that, our action matters most in all cases.
Life doesn't come with a guarantee that your action will produce a good result. But your good action will make you a better human, for sure.
So, it's our choice what we want to focus on.
Be wise on this.
