I was looking for reference photos after my excitement from yesterday's painting and found the one I'm about to share below. I'm really enjoying creating this glass collection.
I painted in sketchbookpro as usual and I decided to do minimal blending to make it look similar to a traditional painting you'd get from using acrylic paint. Also, blending takes too much time 😁
Here's the finished piece
My sketches are usually not perfect as I'm not too interested in sketching. I of course would advice to always get your sketch as accurate as possible and would if I had the patience. I find I can only focus when I have color on my page, so I usually just jump to painting and manipulating as I go
Step one :- sketch the glass
Step two :- foundation work of laying down your base colors
Step three and four is about refining the sketch
Thanks for stopping by!
