Drawing Eyes, the Continuous Practice

Today was a good day to peactice doing an eye. The type of posg yhaf you see everywhere, almost like a common drawing. Eyes are one of the three thing, I believe, that must be perfected in drawings. Eyes, lips and hands. Of course everything needs to be practice, like all the different heads I'm trying to do. But me, personally, what really gets my attention on a drawings are those three details.

You could have drawn a perfect body, but with big uneven hands it would lose all it charms. On the other hand...(huh, a pun), having nice hands attached to a bizarre body, doesn't seem to matter. The same can be said with the face. Eyes are usually the aim of critics pointing possible improvement. We do look at others eyes everyday, so people know what to look for. Therefor, this is something I really want to practice.

So I did another eye 🙂. Like many tutorials, I started with a soft pencil, in my case 4H. I suggest to go see a few differwnt eyes tutorial, yoh ate surw to find a technique that goes well for you. Once the basic sketch was.done, I added the details at the same that I increase darknest to eventually reach the 6B pencil. I did the eye first, after it was done, I have added an eyebrow and some watercolor to give it a little touch.
