What do we mean when we say professional jealousy?

Professional jealousy is not different from the normal meaning of jealousy, but it is specific to the workplace and the feeling of jealousy of colleagues in the place.

Some people may see this jealousy as a positive thing that pushes the owner to develop himself and honest competition, but it also has other negative effects that destroy the employee's personality or make him less effective in the workplace.

Causes of professional jealousy ..

There are many reasons that we can mention, but the most prominent of them is related to the employee's lack of self-confidence and not getting the recognition he deserves!

We as employees are encouraged by praise and appreciation from the business manager. And let's imagine other people gain recognition as we do our jobs well. Wouldn't that be a cause for jealousy?

As if another employee gets a promotion that we have waited for a long time and we worked hard to get it, but it went to another person, we find that his efforts are nothing more than us!

The absence of team spirit at work reduces enthusiasm and positive competitive spirit, creates negative feelings and is the most important encouragement of the emergence of professional jealousy.

How do we behave?

Experts find that the best way to eliminate jealousy in the workplace is to lay a hand on its causes. Determining the cause will be like holding the end of the thread.

Reviewing our accounts afterwards and looking at these reasons will make us understand more of this feeling. Maybe our co-worker deserves to be promoted as well, or the increase that another colleague got was really fair!

In your opinion, how can we curb the feeling of jealousy in the workplace, especially as it is an innate feeling? What are the efforts made by officials to prevent employees from being jealous of one another?
