FEELINGS ON A SAD DAY

Emotions are one of the basics of human personality, it is important to notice a change in the elevating and lowering of our feelings.
A lot of things triggers this feelings, not just things but also people, places, items can affect humans emotions.
On the cost of simplifying this topic I will discuss on the subtopics under it.

WHY ARE YOU UPSET? WHAT CAUSES YOU TO BE DEPRESSED??

Speaking from personal experience, a lot of things can upset me, but I've learned how to control my emotions, because as a human being, one is bound to feel down sometimes, and there are also times when I just feel depressed without anything triggering it, I became so comfortable in depression that it seemed like a life style, and because of that I tend to listen to sad songs and movies with sad endings.
I am a type of person that like my space, but not until I discovered that no human is an island, we are created to associate, it was a sad fact because it was contrary to what I love, at the beginning of this piece I said people also triggers this feelings of sadness and depression because In the process of trying to be accommodating and friendly to people; I got to learn how deceptive, deceitful and selfish people can be.

I had this friend whom I thought was so good to me, she made me love people, she made me see the world in the sweetest view, but she always uses my weakness against me, she made people think I was nothing, I couldn't see our friendship in this view cause of her pretending ways, she will say a lot of bad things behind me and smile at me all the time, I loved her because she was like a sister and a friend I couldn't trade our friendship for anything, she always made feel comfortable in inferiority and backwardness. She was a chameleon. The day I learnt of all she has been doing, I cut all ties with people,I enjoyed my company.because of the fact that I am an over thinker. I always thought about all of this moments, thinking about them will lower my emotions and force me to tears,but after crying and feeling sad and all alone, it made me happy.
I found myself resenting her and I hated all the places we went to that reminded me of her, I had to burn all the clothes she borrowed from me and delete all of the pictures of us, I found out I could do all those things but I couldn't erase those memories.

WHAT STEPS DO YOU TAKE TO IMPROVE YOUR MOOD WHEN YOU ARE UPSET?

Depression shaped my life into a small substance that can be fitted into the smallest space of all, I couldn't do what my peers could do in school or social gatherings because I hated people and there make me depressed.
But a day in my life came, I went online and hence it's the only thing that makes me smile once in a while, I went online and there were a lot of videos that defined my personality and life at that moment it was as if this people knew about me, I cried so much that day, and that was the last day I cried over being sad and all alone. The influencer spoke with a lot of encouragement and I could tell that she has experienced a situation that made her dined with depression.
First of all I deleted all the sad songs in my cell phone and laptop, I deleted all those movies that always make me cry and make me remember similar situations.
I bought dresses with bright colors I practiced smiling more, I always write positive affirmations in my diary and I say them to myself before going for a morning walk, I listen to people online whom impact positivity into my life.
I practiced this routine for 3 months, I excelled academically and I also discovered many of my hidden talents, it takes a choice to get over this addiction of sadness and depression, my life made a great turn, I had to create a platform where I invited people with similar situations, and it helped a lot of people whom made up their mind to get healed.
Depression is sickness, it first of all makes you comfortable in it, then it deprives you of Happy moments.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO THOSE WHO ARE VERY DEPRESSED TO OVERCOME THEIR DEPRESSION??


When I discovered that I was always depressed, and that my body will always conform to this. I started with writing my thoughts down, however I feel whenever I'm depressed, depression made me composed sad music,write sad stories,draw sad pictures,I thought all of this was a great feeling, until I walked pass that line.until i realize that it's better to cure this ailment at an early stage or else it might become incurable,it starts from being just an emotion then it graduates to an addiction and then the later stage it's sickness.

Depression has the power of dimming the light of a great destiny, it will make a person see life in a darker view.
What you listen to and whom you listen to is important, you can listen to a comedian and find yourself laughing, you can go for Billie Eilish and feel sad all of a sudden, you can go for Adele concert and feel heartbroken and not believing in love or doubting your love life, people can impact that much to you, until you chose to run away, to say no you can never get away, surround yourself with positive people be in positive places, do positive things, your life will turn around greatly.. but if you soar in depression too much u might start seeing things, or hearing things negative things.

Get up people there's a life outside this emotions that's a gift from God. Nature is a positive blessing, sometimes take a walk, listen to helpful sermons, listens to positive affirmations and elevating messages and songs that up lifts your soul

Start today,it's a personal choice to say no to those voices, to say no to sadness.start dealing with the little things before it becomes your biggest threat, if you check the life of successful people there are positive, positivity can make you see life in another light.

Depression has to flee,I know we all might have stories that made us depressed, I might not know your story but I see a lot of light in you, you are more than this, you just need to be in the right places with the right people, self love is also important, at the end of the day you will have yourself to be grateful for, for fighting hard to succumb to this.
And I also remember telling myself when I enjoyed being depressed and sad,I will always say this is the way I am, someone whom will understand me will do, no,this is the lies we tell ourselves when we think we can't exit this prison
The world needs you but not in this way, but in a way you can impact greatness and positive influence to people,you can't be that person when you are still trying to love your own self,start now.

Depression can be overcome with proper understanding. Then do something enjoyable to take your mind off your concerns. When we spend time outside, it is really beneficial to our health since it allows us to relax.
