Introduction

What is Plagiarism: it is copying or using another person's content, work, words, ideas or information without recognizing the original owner that is the author, it is also known as theft that is stealing someone's Idea or knowledge. It is one of the offence that one is liable to punishment on the Court of law if you are caught and it will tarnish a persons image badly as such everyone needs to be careful not to post a plagiarized content.

Explain plagiarism to a newbie on Steem.

On steem plagiarism is writing another person's contents, ideas, words and using their pictures as your own without recognizing them by sourcing it for one to know that it is not yours or you are not the true owner of it. It you are caught in sreemit using another person's idea without sourcing it you will be tag plagiarized and muted from participating in any of the community that you post a plagiarized content so you need to be careful and be sure that you always create a content and use a picture of your own if by any means you quote someone you have to use a quotation sign if you are not quoting but is another person's write up or a picture that does not belong to you, you must source it, this shows that you recognize the author and when someone reads that content he/ she will know is not yours and credit will go to the owner.

My best approaches in educating new users on abstinence of plagiarism on Steem.

Always try to be creative by creating content of your own and be natural in your write-up, use simple words, do not write to impress someone if by peraventure you used someone's idea please endeavor to recognize or give the credit to the owner by sourcing the information or picture.

Do well to use some tools in checking for plagiarism like smallseotools app to check for plagiarism, if there is any sentence that is plagiarized it will show you then you delete it and use your own or you source it, always try to paraphrase what you know about a particular thing in your own words the way you understand, this will make your contents not to plagiarize .

Yes I believe in the links because it always give me 100% and is good to be using it. I do not have any other link

Yes I know that very well

Mention at most three ways of avoiding plagiarism.

Paraphrasing : writing another person's idea, words and information in your own words and ensure to make changes in almost every words that are important.
Quoting : Using the same words from the author or source but enclosed it in quotation marks and give accurate citation.
Plagiarism checker : Making use of software that scans your write up to identify others words, information or idea
which is the main plagiarism.

Conclusion

To be a good steemian you must've creative, make content of your own using your ideas, words and information and avoid plagiarism by using the above technique because plagiarism is an offence on it own and one can be liable in the court of law.
