- My recipe is called Hilsa Fish Paturi on gourd leaves.
Its popularity
The national fish of my country is Hilsa fish and various recipes are made with this fish .
Hilsa fish is so delicious to eat that I cook it with any vegetable, especially eggplant, any gourd and any arum vegetables or Hilsa fish fry, fried, mustard Hilsa, Hilsa gravy, curd Hilsa,and Hilsa Polao is cooked with this fish.
Why don't you do any recipe with fish, its taste and texture cannot be compared to any fish.
It looks beautiful like silver color so in my country it is called Rupali iIlsah. This Hilsa fish is the Bengali tradition of my country and we are proud.This fish is produced in large quantities in my country so this fish is very popular in my country as well as in my neighboring India. Our country is a riverine country, the longest Sea beach in the world, so there is a lot of fish available in my country and many marine fish are exported by the government and private sector of my country, but only this hilsa fish is prohibited from export.
The Prime Minister of my country sends a large quantity of hilsa fish as a gift to the Government of India on the occasion of the Puja Festival.
This fish is very tasty and quite popular but the price of this fish is a little higher than other fish.As the price is a little relatively high, the lower class people cannot buy and eat this fish easily. Although our country has a large number of fish produced naturally. A fish that produces more in our country than in other countries.Fish are abundant in both fresh and salty water, but river fish is more tasty.
I prefer to eat this Hilsa fish more than all the big fish, so when I get a lot of this fish during the rainy season, there is a lot available (a little cheaper, then I freeze these fish all year.

- Hilsa Fish Paturi can be done with Banana leaves or Gourd, Pumpkin leaves but I have never cooked this recipe before.
So today I want to cook Hilsa Paturi.
I needed to cook this hilsa fish,
Hilsa fish | four pieces |

Gourd leaves | 10 |
Mustard | ½ cup |
Mustard oil | ½ cup |
Onions | 4 |
Green Chili | 7-8 |
Turmeric powder | ½ tsp |
Salt | ½ tsp |
Hilsa fish has its own one and flavor its own characteristics, so the less spice it can be used, the more tasty it is to eat. While eating rice with this fish, I felt that this is why this fish has been named as our national fish and that is why we Bengalis call it Hilsa, the king of fish.
Cooking method
Step -1
I've taken four pieces of fish, fish eggs here,I'll rub the fish with a little turmeric and a little chili powder and marinate it.
Step -2
Then I will soak the mustard in water for half an hour . Then wash the mustard well and strain the water and blend it with chopped green chilies and onions, salt, small water.This will make that mustard bitter less.
Step -3
I have 10-12 gourd leaves here and then wash the gourd leaves well and drain the water and throw away the leafy stem part. |

Step -4
Now mix half a spoonful of turmeric powder and mustard oil well with a blend of mustard in a bowl.
Step -5
Now I will spread the two leaves on top of each other well and take a piece of fish and apply mustard paste on the leaves. I'll put a little egg inside the empty part of the fish. Wrap the leaf well with a little mustard oil and a green chili on the fish so that the mustard paste does not come out from inside.
Step -6
At this stage I will tie the wrapped fish leaf part of this leaf well with yarn and fry the fish well in mustard oil. Hilsa fish paturi wrapped with tasty gourd leaves is ready.

I ate hilsa paturi for the first time as much as I was bored doing this recipe, it looked like nectar to eat .Really great recipe cooked today. It was so tasty that a plate of rice just finished eating with a piece of fish.

Hola amigo, ese pecado es bien parecido a uno que tenemos aquí en nuestro país Venezuela, específicamente en el estado donde vivo hay un río donde abunda en temporadas.
