Hello my fellow steemians in the great community how are you fairy? Hope all is fine,l am so delighted to partake in this challenge I want to thank the organizer of this contest for the wonderful question "what is the meaning of prayer to you"?

Prayer means a communication or a connection between God and man by way of supplication or request, It is a channel where Christians or those who believe in heavenly God tender their request just like Hannah did,prayer is the key to every situation in Christian life with out prayer a Christian is empty and disconnected from spiritual life.

• Do you think is necessary to pray, and how many times should one pray , Are there some supernatural things prayer can do?

The Bible made me to understand in 1st Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 17 that we should pray without ceasing so it is much necessary for a Christian to pray in season and out of seasons , prayer brings healing and spiritual growth just like a lame man in the beautiful gate where Peter and James prayed and he rise to his legs , prayer brings about intercession and deliverance, prophetic and visionary experience and many more out standing supernatural encounter through prayer,infact prayers can do exploit .

yes unanswered prayer can caused by sin because gone are the days where God stayed away from our prayers, because of sin he sent his only begotten son to die on the cross to set us free from sin, he had given us a command to come let us reason together though our sin is dark like a charcoal and red like crimson it shall make it White as Snow says the Lord, Jesus Christ intercedes, when one fall and realise his condition God will forgive, when we live in total obedience to his word, then he will hear and answer prayers from heaven, what happened to the children of when ever they sin against God the presence of God with depart from them and they would suffer but turned to God for mercy,he would forgive and hear their prayer from above.

In conclusion not all prayers are answered immediately or visible God has his way of doing things that is why he is all knowing God but through his divine will he made all things possible, l would love to invite my friends @wisdom123 ,@enyddy and @inemesituwah to join in this amazing contest, thank you.
