One aspect of my life is cooking. There was a time when I used to find cooking a chore, but now I love cooking with changing times. Today is the fourth-week of My Cooking Skills, hosted by Steem for Lifestyle community favorite @solaymann sir . Today I am ready for Eid-special cooking. Stay tuned and learn my cooking skills.

Today's cooking is a popular as well as traditional dish among the people of Bangladesh. This dish is especially known as a dessert at the various joyous festivals in Bangladesh. The popular dish is- sweet semai. I will prepare a traditional dish with a slightly different taste called - Nawabi Lachcha Semai.

Semai is a popular dessert item in Bangladesh. Semai is very popular in our country for entertaining guests or for breakfast. The combination of a sweet cream filling with lots of sprinkles on top makes any dessert perfect. And for the special festival, there will be semai in every house in Bangladesh. This dish is so popular that the rich and poor share the joy of the festival in every household. Children like it most because of its sweet taste. Semai is my favorite dessert. And this Nawabi Lachcha Semai is very fond of.

If you want to make simple semai a little more extraordinary, check out today's nawabi semai recipe.

Necessary Materials.

Lachcha semai, 250 grams.
Milk: half a liter.
Milk powder: 200 grams.
Custard powder, 4 spoons.

Condensed milk, 50 grams.
Sugar: half cup.
Ghee: three spoons.
Dry fruits for garnishing

Now check that it is ready to cook.

STEP - 1
  • The first semai should be broken into small pieces. Then place a pot on the stove and heat ghee and fold it with semai. Then mix well with sugar and milk powder, and mix with semai.

STEP - 2
  • The semai should be folded by stirring continuously until the sugar melts and mixes with the semai.

STEP - 3
  • After 8 to 10 minutes on low heat, remove from the oven. The semai will become bitter if it is folded for a long time.

STEP - 4
  • Boil the liquid milk in another pan.

STEP - 5
  • Then add condensed milk, powdered milk, and custard powder (tips: mix custard with cold water well; otherwise, it will coagulate) according to the quantity given above in the condensed milk and cook it on medium heat until it becomes thick cream.

STEP - 6
  • Then take a big bowl or cup and first press the fried semai gently with your hands and put a layer of cream on it. It should be pressed gently with fried semai again. Then it will be a delicious, creamy Nawabi semai.

After those dry fruits, marriage will look more beautiful if you arrange it as per your wish.

Nawabi Semai tastes as good as it looks and sticks to the tongue. Refrigerate it and serve it when it is cold. “Cooking enthusiasts are always trying to cook something new, and creamy Nawabi Semai is one such item. Sweet cream in the middle of the top. Yummy Worm Nababi Laccha Semai is very easy to make.
