The Tron Fan Club is a specialized community working on some specific topics. As a moderator of the community, I am regularly sharing several tutorials to help newbies. In this series of tutorials, I am trying to share the basic issues of Steem blockchain.

The time required to refill voting power is 20% in 24 hours. That means if you wait 24 hours then your voting power will increase by 20%. So, every 2.4 hours (2 hours 24 minutes) your voting power will increase by 1%.

If you cast 100% vote to any post your current voting power will be reduced by 2%. Let your voting power is 100% then after that vote your voting power will be 98%. Again, if you have 50% voting power in your wallet and you cast 100% vote to any post then your voting power will be (50%-2% of 50%) = 49%. The calculation will go forward in this way. That means the voting power will decrease by 2% based on your current available voting power.

Good curators maintain this 2.4 hours to cast a 100% of vote. Because they want to get maximum curation rewards from voting. It may be very difficult for us to maintain it. Because you have to sleep at night, you have to be busy at different times during the day so it is not possible for you to vote every 2.4 hours and you have not invested that much here. So you can keep the calculation in mind for a day.

The calculation for one day is as follows:
Since your 20% voting power refills in 24 hours means you can lose 20% percent of your voting power every day which gets refilled on the next day.

To spend 20% voting power you need to vote 100% on 10 posts if you vote consecutively for 2.4 hours. Even if you can't maintain 2.4 hours then you can vote like 1000% percent in total on about 9-11 posts throughout the day. Now if you vote 100% per post then you can vote only 10 posts a day if you want to keep your voting power stable near 100%. And if you vote 50%, then you can vote on 20 posts and if you vote 25% then you can vote on 40 posts.

Now you must have understood why big curators can't vote 100% on everyone's posts in one day. This calculation applies to everyone, not just big investors. You may have less power but the calculation is the same.
