Staking may be coming soon for US Ether ETFs!

in hive-183397 •  yesterday

United States Bitcoin ETF approval took place earlier this year in early January. After it was approved came the discussion of Spot Ethereum ETF. In July, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved spot Ethereum ETFs to trade in the United States. Now again, there is a possibility that Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) may soon feature staking yields. Since there has been a change in the US presidency and a new Trump has been re-elected as the US president, and who is known to be largely crypto-friendly, it is considered that under him and the US Securities and Exchange Commission, ETH staking yields will likely be approved.

Staking Ether basically involves locking up. The Ethereum blockchain will work as a parallel with a validator in the network and hopefully benefit customers. When this is implemented stakers through Ether staking earn ETH payouts from network fees and other rewards. But the downside is that if a validator misbehaves, the opposite is true, and all those validators risk losing money — or losing ETH collateral. StakingRewards.com expressed their opinion on this and they reported that as of yesterday staking ETH is about 3.1% Annual Percentage Return (APR), denominated in ETH.

The ETH yield on the Ethereum blockchain network is likely to increase further in the future from what it is currently, and it may increase further to 4-5% in the near future. However, there are many US ETF issuers that prohibit funding in ETH for additional yields despite multiple requests from them to implement or fund ETH yields. But there is another factor involved that since Donald Trump has been re-elected as the US President and who has promised before the election to make the US the crypto capital of the world, it is expected that when he takes office, on the 20th of this month, when he The president is considering putting crypto-friendly leaders at the helm of financial regulators when he takes office

Ether is generally considered to be an underperformer compared to Bitcoin because it is in the interest of investors and is currently growing and hence analysts cite ETH as an attractive investment opportunity. Ethereum's fundamentals look strong and recent flows in ETF flows indicate a solid revival in interest. But Ether investments have been growing much more slowly since Bitcoin, and funds have seen a record net inflow of nearly $2.2 billion into it this year. Finally, 2021's net inflow of cryptocurrencies has roughly surpassed the record of $2 billion again this year. But five to six years from now, the Ethereum network will generate up to $66 billion in annual free cash flow.
