Greetings everyone. Hopefully everyone is doing fine. I am also doing well alhamdulillah.

I've talked about Black Myth: Wukong a few days back. But the game wasn't released back then. It was released only a few days back and I've played it for quite a bit.

The game itself has made quite the first impression with the in-game visuals and overall gameplay. The world design, especially the landscapes, detailed environments, and unique character designs, has created an immersive and visually captivating experience, drawing players into the mythological setting with a sense of awe and wonder at every turn. Each area feels distinct, with careful attention to cultural and historical elements that enhance the game’s atmosphere.

One of the main key features of the game is the game's visuals and overall graphics. The graphics of this game is very crisp and realistic. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 5. That's the main reason for such realistic graphics. Another key feature or selling point of the game is it's combat mechanism. The game is a mixture of Soulslike and RPG. It has a bit of both. The gameplay feels easy to quite hard from time to time. The game becomes challenging at times due to the frequent boss battles and mini-boss encounters. The boss designs in this game are some of the best I've ever seen. In Black Myth: Wukong, the protagonist has three primary combat stances, each offering a distinct style of play:

  1. Smash Stance

  2. pillar Stance

  3. Thrust Stance.

Each stance adds a unique combat style, allowing players to map their approach to different enemies and situations. Different enemies requires different stances to dispose them more swiftly. The story of the game progresses swiftly with 6 large chapters in the game, keeping the pace engaging throughout the game. But the absence of any sorts of map or navigation is a bit of disappointment for me. The in-game world is vast, featuring diverse terrains such as deserts, snowy mountains, jungles, and deep underground caves. Navigating through such places gets quite hard from time to time. It's easy to get lost in such places. Exploring and finding the correct path can be challenging and time-consuming.

That's all for this part. Will be back with more details of Black Myth; Wukong soon. Stay tuned till then.
Goodbye.
