Greetings everyone. Hopefully everyone is doing fine by the will of almighty ALLAH. I am also doing well alhamdulillah.

The fifth installment of the God of War franchise: God Of War Ragnarok has been recently launched to PC ports. There are mixed reactions from PC players so far. I’ve played this game recently and, while the core experience remains outstanding, the PC port has some ups and downs.

Firstly the visual representation of the game is outstanding. The overall world design and the atmosphere of the game is breathtaking. The graphics looks a bit similar to Gow 4 but it is more polished in some aspects of the game. The landscapes, character designs, combat animations looks super smooth and more fresh compared to the previous game. The higher frame rates has definitely improved the overall gaming experience in PC. The game itself is super optimized but there are some bugs and glitches which needs to be fixed as soon as possible for a better gameplay experience. Small frame rate drops are visible on some graphics cards but it could be a driver issue and will most likely be fixed soon. The game will be super enjoyable once these small setbacks and glitches are all fixed.

Gameplay wise, Ragnarök is super fun to play. The game is filled with action, puzzles and an amazing story that revolves around the destruction of Asgard of the Norse mythology. The combat system of the game has been improved a lot. The overall combat system is more skill-based, rather than relying on the fixed movesets of the previous game. Ragnarök now has two playable characters. Both Kratos and Atreus can be controlled separately on certain points of the story. Each character has their own movesets and abilities that enhances the gameplay and gives a little diversity in the game.

I mostly liked the story and the overall graphics of the game. The realms or the world design of the game were done amazingly. Progressing through such a detailed world surely made the experience of this game much more fluid and better than any prequels of the series. I personally thought this game would also win game of the year just like God Of War 4 but sadly it didn't. But still this game is much better than the 4th one in every sections. The game also has a free DLC which I haven't played yet. Will be back soon once I've completed that one to get a better view.
