Greetings everyone. Let's hope everyone is doing well and having a good time in the community. I am also doing well alhamdulillah.
In the last part, we've talked about the basics of this Souls Game called Sekiro. In today's part, we are diving into more in-depth details of this game.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is developed and got released by FromSoftware in Japan. Then the game got internationally released by Activision for the PlayStation 4, Windows and the Xbox at the same time in 2019. This game is currently available for around 60$ at Steam. The game has sold around 10 million copies so far and is considered one of the best if not the best Souls game out there. FromSoftware has delivered us some of the best Sword vs Sword combat system in this game. Some of their successful games excluding this one are Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3.

In Sekiro you get to play as the rogue Shinobi called Wolf. The word Shinobi might not be very familiar. It simply stands for a mercenary or a covert agent or some sort. In this game, your job is to safeguard the divine heir who has the power or immortality and can give others the power of unlimited resurrections upon death. Which is why he becomes a target for many, and your job as the guard of the divine heir is to protect him from such enemies who want the power for themselves. The protagonist Wolf loses his left arm and loses consciousness in the process of protecting his master in the very beginning of the game. Then he gets his main weapon or a tool which is the prosthetic left arm given by a mysterious sculptor who claims to be a retired Shinobi himself.
One might assume how the story will progress further so I'm not getting into more details about the story of the game itself.

In terms of the gameplay, the prosthetic arm gives the player so many unique abilities which one can use in various situations. The arm can hold up to 10 different unique weapons and tools to aid the protagonist in battle. The prosthetic arm can be used as swords, spears, firecracker flashes, shields, grapple gun etc. Players can gather each tool throughout the game, which can then be added to the prosthetic arm with the assistance of the sculptor. The main key to make the game easier to play is to time the deflect mechanism precisely. Otherwise this game can be very hard to complete. There are enemies in this game who requires around 50 to 60 slashes to kill but it might kill you with one severe blow. Which is why the deflecting is the key part of progressing and finishing the game.
That's it for today. Hopefully we'll meet again in another game's review or revisiting more details about this game. Stay safe and secured till then.
Goodbye.
