And in the case of mining, two Consensus mechanisms are used, (PoS) Proof-Of-Staking which can be mined with very low electricity consumption,
Currently, it is only Ethereum, Polka Dot, ADA mining,
However, Bitcoin and Litecoin are still mined using PoW mechanism,
Ethereum used PoW in the beginning and later it was transferred to PoS,
And this has reduced electricity consumption by 99.9%,
So it is expected that Bitcoin can adopt PoS method in the future,

We all know that most electricity is generated by burning coal, which produces a lot of carbon dioxide, and this is definitely a threat to the world, so if you want, you can ensure electricity supply by using hydroelectricity, electric solar, wind, and this is called renewable electricity,
