Need of Decentralized social media - 1(Form of Traditional Social Media)

All of us in this digital world are more or less on social media. Today social media is our daily companion. We cannot think of passing a single day without social media. The number of people who do not visit Facebook, X (Twitter), or Instagram regularly is very few in our area. There are very few people who stay away from social media in the digital world. But everyone else is used to social media and spends a lot of time on it.

The main function of social media is to ensure social communication. Through social media, we can know the status and updates of our neighbors, friends, relatives, or well-wishers. Apart from giving us these benefits, social media now also drives various business activities. I would say this media is now completely business-oriented. It is difficult to think of anything other than business here because Facebook, the main social media site, offers various types of professional ads and business activities under the name of social media.

Many people are complaining against different social media saying that social media is making a lot of profit by selling the data of their users to different companies. It is sad that private data is collected and sold to other companies. But the core business behind social media gradually becoming more resourceful or competing to outdo themselves is business. Today's social media gives more importance to business than social communication, so now we see shopping and other ads more than the scope for social communication in social media.

Although people spend time on social media simply to maintain communication, that purpose is often being undermined. Now social media is considered as one of the main tools of wasting time as we see many people in different parts of the world talking about limitations on social media usage.
