Introduction

Hello everyone and how are we all doing today, it's gives me great pleasure to be participating in this contest post which have been organised by the Tron fan club team.

This contest gives us all the opportunity to obtain a better understanding on how the Tron blockchain works.

What do you understand by Tron power, Tron bandwidth and Tron energy

Tron power

This are the benefits we receive as a result of staking / locking our liquid Tron for a minimum time frame of three days

Tron power is just as steem power, it is gotten from staking our Tron, the minimum Tron we are to stake is 1 as 1 Tron gives 1 Tron power.

Tron bandwidth.

Bandwidth is a special rewards we obtain when we stake our Tron, we use bandwidth for virtual everything in the Tron block chain such as

  1. Voting super representatives
  2. Staking
  3. Unstaking
  4. Claiming vote rewards

And many others, hence bandwidth is very essential and with enough bandwidth we are able to process transactions with as little gas charge and seamlessly.

Tron energy

This is the second option of reward we can choose to receive when we stake our Tron, unlike bandwidth tron energy is not so often used for every transaction on the blockchain.

Tron energy is mainly used for when using dapps on the block chain such as sunswap, justlend and many others.

With enough Tron energy we are able to reduce transaction cost when we use this dapps such as swaping one token for another on sunswap.

The process of gaining Tron energy and Tron power

The process of gaining Tron power and energy involves one staking Thier liquid Tron and this can be done though tronlink mobile application

Step 1 the application

iMarkup_20220525_090257.jpg

When you open the application Tron link pro you would be presented with this page above, you will then click on the highlighted box which says stake .

Step 2 staking

iMarkup_20220525_090408.jpg

After clicking on staking you will be presented with this page above, follow the proess below

  1. Select the icon tagged above which says energy
  2. Select the percentage of your liquid Tron you want to stake for energy
  3. Click on next step.

Note: following the arrows we can see that staking of 3 steem gives 73 energy.

Step 3 : confirmation

iMarkup_20220525_090445.jpg

After clicking on next step it then takes you to this page which is more like a confirmation page it shows how many energy you would obtain by staking your Tron and the vote you would be able to cast.

Note: like I said earlier for any transaction on tronlink it requires bandwidth and we can see in the highlighted box that this staking would take 243 bandwidth.

What are the factors gaining of energy and bandwidth depended on

For energy

The amount of Energy's we get when we stake tron depends on three things

  1. The number of you Tron staked
  2. The constant number or energy available
  3. The total number of already staked tron on the network.

Hence the amount of energy you receive could fluctuate based at any given period of time.

Formula

For bandwidth
The amount you get when staking bandwidth also depends on three factors, with just a little exception that all users are given 1500 staked bandwidth free to person basic transaction.

  1. The number of you Tron staked
  2. The constant number or bandwidth available
  3. The total number of already staked tron for on the network.

Formula

Trx transfer without fee

Through the use of bandwidth users of Tron are able to send trx to other freely by burning bandwidth rather than trx I will now Share with you the process of doing so.

Step 1 application

iMarkup_20220525_095526.jpg
Open your Tron link wallet and click on the highlighted box which says send

Step 2 details

iMarkup_20220525_095653.jpg

After you click on send you will be taken to the page above
Stores to take

  1. Paste the wallet address you wish to send trx to
  2. Select the amount of trx you want to send to
  3. Click on send

Note:
While sending trx there is an option where you can choose to write a short note. This note could be anything from the reason for sending it to something playful.

Step 3 confirmation

iMarkup_20220525_095718.jpg

This page shows the relevant information based on your
pending transaction.

From the Information above we can see that rather than being charged trx for this transaction It is being done for free and I would only pay 364 bandwidth.

Nft transfer with reduced transfer fee

Unlike transfering trx from one trx account to another this usually charge very little bandwidth, transfer of other assets such as nft are quite expensive and often attract high gas fees, but with energy we are able to reduce this gas charges by burning energy and only resulting to burn trx when energy is exhausted.

Porcess of sending with reduced fees using energy

Step 1 select the asset you wish to send

iMarkup_20220525_101915.jpg

I have selected to send the asset known as nft as I have it in the thousands.

Step 2 details

iMarkup_20220525_101803.jpg

I have Inputed the receivers nft address and the amount I wish to send him.

Step 3 confirmation

iMarkup_20220525_101516.jpg

From here we can see that for this transaction to go through rather than being charged only in trx the fees have been reduced so that I will pay 6073 energy and 363 bandwidth and only 2 trx for this transaction.

From this we can see how energy can help reduce the transaction fee.

Conclusion

This has been a very interesting lesson and I have learnt so much by participating in this contest I hope many other would do so as this contest is a very interesting one.

Wow that was fast, you know so much that you did this assignment without much research. If it were me, it would take me 2 days plus to complete this post. Nicely done and well informative I would definitely hop on this post

I am eager to read yours as you have proven to be a better writer than me

Please stop using #learnwithsteem and #fintech on same publication. You are creating confusion among the curation teams. Find the theme your post falls under and use only their unique tag.
