Bismillah
Assalamualaikum .
Before going to do activities or work as usual, exercise before enjoying a cup of coffee, as usual, I do light exercise in the field area near the house, jogging in the morning while enjoying the cool air
After light exercise
Just went to Keude Kopi to enjoy a cup of morning coffee sitting with friends at the stall before going to work.
Coincidentally, today is Friday, I helped harvest sewit in a garden that is almost 3 hectares wide
three with friends to chase Dodos sawit which is not too far from where we live.
Most people here prefer to plant oil palms rather than other trees such as rubber trees or ordinary coconuts.
Either because it is easier to care for
Either because the price is expensive
Because almost everyone here who has land must have oil palms, even small land in the garden behind the house is friendly.
In addition to easy maintenance
The price is also affordable and stable
After being harvested, there are bosses who will accept it to buy it.
In one hectare, you can get almost 1.5 tons of oil palm fruit per hectare
That's also the most handsome when the track is not maintained or not.
So if people plant one or two oil palm trees, if the harvest there are 5 fruits to buy fish and vegetables, that's enough.
It's not too difficult to sell because almost every village or hamlet already has a warehouse or oil palm storage (toke)
In my place, it's only been a few decades since people have been interested in planting oil palm
In the past, only betel nuts were found in almost every garden.
But now it's changed
Even betel nuts have been cut down to plant oil palms.
What's more, Indonesian oil from palm oil
It has been processed in various processes, produced by large companies, and has even been exported abroad.
That's all for now, friends
Thank you
I'm a beginner, so please give me your input so that my words are organized and focused on today's story
Thank you
