New Katraj Tunnel from Pune to Satara
The New Katraj Tunnel is a turnpike tunnel arranged on the NH 4, Pune, in Maharashtra domain of India. It is a three-laned tunnel which expands 1338 meters on The Katraj Ghat. This section superseded the Old Katraj Tunnel. It was opened on December 15, 2006 by Chief Minister Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh. The section is a bit of the Golden Quadrilateral Project. This endeavor was proposed by Mr. Nishant Rinke.
