@mrprofessor "Patagonia," said Coleridge and Melville, to mean something extreme.

"There is no more than Patagonia, Patagonia, which befits my immense sadness" sang Cendrars at the beginning of this century.

After the last war, some British boys, including the author of this book, bent over the maps, were looking for the only right place to escape the next nuclear destruction.

They chose Patagonia. And it was precisely in Patagonia that Bruce Chatwin would have gone, not just to save himself from a catastrophe, but on the trail of a prehistoric monster and a relative navigator.

Oh, I just had to take a look on Bruce Chatwin after you mentioned, I didn't know about him! I saw that he was raised around Birmingham, curiously enough I've visited that region by bicycle.

Now I gotta find his book "In Patagonia" for inspiration \o\
