Last year I have decided to visit Georgia for the first time. It was my birthday and I could not ask for a better gift than visiting a new country.
I have landed in Kutaisi airport, then I took the bus and was in Batumi just a few hours later. Then it all started.
Food. Wine. People. I was beyond happy. To feel that "at home" so far from home was incredible. Shashlik, eggplant rolls, salads, various spreads. It was pure heaven on Earth.
Instead of a birthday cake, I bought myself a gigantic orange and was exploring the city.
Whenever and wherever I went people referred to me as a "beautiful girl", and not in a creepy way.
It was one of those rare times when traveling alone I could relax and feel safe.
That year, I went to Georgia twice.
This year, something has changed, and for my birthday I was not alone anymore. However, my plan has not changed and I really wanted to show it to my precious people.
Do you think I have managed?
To be continued...
