Maheshkhali Island is one of the major tourist attractions in my country- Bangladesh. I love this place not just because it's a mangrove island but because of its diversity in nature, people, and culture.
We had to cross this huge bridge to land on the main Island!
Isn't it beautiful?
The large river will remind you of the sea. You can see the 'tree line' waiting to welcome everyone to this amazing island.
The best thing about this Island is the 'journey'. You can take a boat, troller or mini water vehicle to reach this place. It will take a while so you can watch the beauty of the river in the meanwhile. I can guarantee you, you will love the journey!
View from our troller!
But before that while reaching the troller we had to cross a wooden bridge. It was not stable at all. I can remember how freaked out I was. But yeah, after so many years it makes me feel good actually!
The wooden bridge
And, finally, when we reach the Island we get to see the huge mangrove forest surrounding the whole place. Also, this Island have some significant historical places. I have shared that earlier. So, no I'm sharing the images of the forest.
You see, how green the place is!
I intentionally make this travel story reverse. Like from arriving to starting. Sometimes it feels good to do things reversely. I hope you like my captures.
