Piazza della repubblica in Florence. 

One of the most cool place in Florence it's piazza della repubblica or square of the republic, today this square is full of life, street artist and street actors and musicians are the hearth of this square.

The main post office is close to the square and also the only hard rock Cafe in Florence.

The square was builded in the middle age when Cosimo first put in there the Jewish ghetto, it was not like the modern square, it was totally different, actually most of the buildings are from the 800, only the column of abundance in the muffle of the square its older, from the ancient Roman empire and it was an important sign for everyone during the times.

Actually they have special games for children and adult in the square. 

The arc of triumphs in the square is older too, before it has some statues that was destroyed unfortunately but there are still some old statues in the museum of the older Florence. The square was renoveted when Florence was Capital of Italy, so it look so good now. 

This square attracted many artist I. The past and there are still many cafes where in the past go artists and writer, like Cafe paskowski or giubbe rosse caffè, noelw these places are considerate fancy and very expansive.

In the streets closed to the square there are many rich and fancy shop of clothes and jewelery, this square its really full on Christmas, some years ago there was also a biggest book shop now unfortunately is close but there are reading spectacles during the winter time.

It's really an amazing square, full of life and lights and also in my opinion very romantic, but brace yourself if you want a cocktail in a bar around the square you will pay really a lot!!
