welcome to travelforever and Agri and the world-famous Taj Mahal in this blog we're going to be exploring the Taj Mahal
The Wild Ones are behind us and some other sites here in Agra morning as you can tell it's quite early I saw like puffy that's because it's currently about half-past five and we are going to go and try and see the sunrise at the Taj Mahal usually we don't go up really for too many sunrises we've seen a couple of special ones in our lives so far but this one here I think it's definitely going to be worth it and it went to see like quite nice hazy kind of orange glow around the Taj Mahal well I took its online yesterday so hopefully wouldn't be able to skip the queue and it's only a 15-minute walk so we're very get going finally Auckland agates I made it in it's about 6:30 ten minutes till sunrise that went through security checks set the line for men and women but the right kind of next to each other so don't worry about being separated from your significant problem
we're gonna try and find our way now how do you get some shoe covers and maybe some water and we're gonna make it for the sunrise we entered from the east gate and made it through the great gate as did everyone else by the looks of things but we didn't stop there we made into the Taj Mahal
when you come in through the main gate I would definitely recommend not staying there and skipping where everyone's stopping to take the pictures yeah the sign saying that you can't take photos past a certain point but you definitely can because I'm just looking at a million people taking about it we're really lucky we managed to get in pretty early through beat the clouds yeah so the Sun has come up now but it's kind of rising the sky is changing a little bit so hopefully we'll get some nice hues and you can come all the way down to the front I'd recommend doing that first getting your pictures done quickly and then you can enjoy the rest of the day but to be honest there's people everywhere and it's really busy even though it's for sunrise but I'm sure a lot quiet than what would be later in the day super peaceful there and I really like taking miss that's right so the Taj Mahal behind me
if you didn't know was built by one of the Emperor's is a tomb for his favorite wife so you must had more but this is his favorite ones this is what happens when you are the best one it was completed in 1643 although restorations have taken place in recent years and you're not allowed to drive vehicle to them a certain distance to try and stop the pollution because I think a few years ago and it's kind of getting a little bit yellowed it took 20,000 workers to complete it and apparently they all had the thumbs chopped off at the end so they can never create something as such a beauty as this again in today's terms of money it would cost about eight hundred and twenty seven million dollars to build which is incredible it's very beautiful and you can definitely see how it was inspired by her millions tombs
we saw in jelly so we've come over to the left-hand side of the Taj Mahal if you're looking at it there's a mosque way to take your shoes off you can get some nice pictures in the art tray everyone is on their hardest Instagram game but versus reality you're gonna get people in the shots sometimes you might just have to be a little bit patient you can also see over the river the water levels are quite low apparently you can maybe get a boat out to the river maybe the sunset by I think it's kind of a little bit illegal a little bit dodgy babies don't pay someone to do it and probably not going to do it because there's like barbed wire from the river to there so it wouldn't look very nice anyway yeah but just a little note from me
if you're coming here please just concentrate on the beauty of it and enjoying it and learning about it I know we're filming it and we're talking to you guys but apart from that we're just kind of like soaking it in I really like hate Instagram like I hate how much it makes people pose I hate how much it makes people not to see what's around them and just focus on themselves so please just enjoy these places and don't worry about that perfect photo just get memories but if you can get it it will get a lot of likes so we got our free shoe covers included in our ticket and we need to wear them to go into the mausoleum this is gonna be quite funny watching Adam try to put them on because he has no balance see this an Instagram yeah talking about Instagram already huh so we paid extra it was to only 200 to be able to get up to the actual mausoleum part you can buy that in the online ticket as well or if you wanted to you can just get it
when you get here this is the bit where you get your few covers and come up so you actually can come up and go inside which we're gonna do now and we'll be able to see the tomb of the wife and also the guy that commissioned this whole thing the Emperor he is also inside there as well apparently but you can't take pictures inside so we're gonna put this away and go and take a look
whilst we go inside there are some close-ups of the incredible detail this world wonder has you can really see just how much went into creating it if you look closer and closer
