Today I am going to participate in the 10 pictures of my city/village competition organized by @steem-for-future. I will participate in today's competition with some pictures related to the land cultivation, crop production and transportation of my village.
Agricultural work is a work related to nature. Whether the farmer works on his land himself or hires workers to work, planting and other care has to be taken at the right time. The joy of the farmer is the time to harvest the crop. Now is the season of rice harvesting. After harvesting the rice, the workers are returning home from the field with green grass on their heads. This grass is kept at home and taken for cows or goats.
We have to thank modern technology for doing agricultural work faster and with less effort. The touch of technology has touched every field. There was a time when we had to carry all our crops on our heads and carry them home. Now, big tractors go down to the fields and after harvesting, they deliver the crops to our homes in less time and with less effort. The picture shows a farmer bringing a rented tractor to take his paddy home and the farmer is sitting on top of the vehicle while the workers in the vehicle are loading the paddy into the vehicle.
This image makes me realize that farmers are busy growing more crops to make agriculture profitable. Along with taking rice from the land, they are cultivating the potato fields. The rice fields next to them are still there, but this land is being prepared quickly because it is time to sow potato seeds.
Farmers are the best for food production, whether for themselves or for the people of the country. We steam rice to make rice for ourselves in a completely natural way. Here rice is being boiled for rice production.
Potato fields require a lot of organic fertilizer. Current farmers are using chicken manure as a fast-acting organic fertilizer. A business has been built around this chicken dung. Many people in our village are collecting this chicken dung from the Prolti Farm and selling it to farmers. This picture is of a dung dealer's center.
After bringing the rice, the field is empty. The next rice seedlings will be planted in early February. Farmers are now preparing to make rice seeds. One has to be very careful in making the rice seedbed. The entire supply of the next crop will come from this seedbed.
Before sowing the rice seeds, a bed has to be prepared by making a good layer of mud. The rice seeds germinated at home have to be sprinkled well on that bed.
The farmer's smile in the picture says that the seedbed has been prepared and the rice seeds germinated at home have been well prepared. A picture captured at the last moment of sowing the seeds.
Agriculture is not about one crop, we grow many crops in our agriculture. One of the main crops of our agriculture is almonds. The fruit of almonds grows underground. After harvesting the almonds, we take them near the house to dry in the sun.
This is our seed almond for sowing later. The seeds need to be dried well before storing. We will dry them here for 5/6 days so that they can be stored for 2 months. My whole family is working hard to dry the almonds.
