La settimana passata ci sono stati due avvenimenti che tracimano dal mondo del calcio puro diventando fenomeno di costume.
Il primo e' stato il funerale di Pele', tutto il Brasile si e' praticamente fermato, il Presidente Lula appena insediatosi era presente portando con lui il cordoglio di tutto un paese che ha perso uno dei suoi figli piu' amati.
Commovente la sosta di fronte alla casa della madre di O'Rey
ancora viva con i suoi 100 anni.
Ovviamente non poteva mancare la buffonata dei vertici Uefa e Fifa col presidente Infantino che si fa un selfie tutto sorridente a fianco della salma aperta del campione.
Maradona a lottare contro quel sistema mafioso aveva tutte le
ragioni.

Il secondo avvenimento e' stata la presentazione di CR7 nella
squadra saudita che lo ha ingaggiato per 200 milioni all'anno.
Ho trovato francamente le critiche dei giornali, degli addetti ai lavori e degli ex giocatori piuttosto ridicole.
Ronaldo va per i 38 anni, ha strappato un contratto mostruoso che probabilmente si prolunghera' anche dopo la fine della sua carriera
agonistica con un ruolo differente.
Perche' tanta accidia?
Pele', Cruyff, Beckham ed altri grandissimi campioni non sono
andati a rastrellare gli ultimi soldi dell'ultimo contratto nel
campionato Usa che all'epoca era una sorta di autentico circo?
Dove sono le differenze?
CR7 puo' essere simpatico o antipatico ma ha vinto, mondiale escluso, tutto cio' che c'era da vincere, cosa deve ancora
dimostrare?
E' andato in un paese, dove per altro stanno sbarcando giocatori che hanno avuto una carriera importante, il campionato e' quello che e' ma lo ricopriranno letteralmente d'oro.
In 3 giorni la pagina fb del club che lo ha ingaggiato e' passato da 500 mila a 8,6 milioni di follower...ma di cosa stiamo parlando...
Lasciamo che si goda gli ultimi anni a correre dietro ad un pallone, in fondo e' stato bello vederlo giocare.
