Val d'Ayas 🇮🇹🇬🇧 Unforgettable Trip

Con i Villans, gli amici di sempre e per sempre (da 41 anni)
organizziamo ogni anno 3/4 uscite di gruppo, oltre ovviamente ad
almeno una quindicina di partite di calciotto.
Sabato scorso, come facciamo oramai da qualche anno e' stato il
momento della zingarata in Valle d'Aosta, esattamente Val D'Ayas
dove uno di noi affitta casa da decenni.

Qualche assenza, e' impossibile riuscire ad esserci sempre tutti,
siamo partiti al mattino, a questo giro anche con qualche moglie al
seguito.
Arrivati in valle siamo andati al solito campetto del paese dove ogni anno giochiamo una partitella, nei primi anni facevamo questa zingarata a luglio trovando al campo alcuni ragazzini con cui fare la partita, a fine maggio c'eravamo solo noi, porta unica e si gioca lo stesso.

Fra l'altro alcuni di noi, io compreso, avevamo giocato e vinto una
partita la sera precedente, quindi si e' dovuto combattere anche col
dolore alle gambe.
Dopo la partitella siamo andati al ristorante, cambiando vallata,
sopra Brusson in un locale tipico valdostano ai piedi degli impianti
ri risalita invernali.

Mangiato benissimo e bevuto ancora meglio, con un misterioso
Barbera bello spesso ma che andava giu' che era un piacere.
Antipasti vari con lo spek a farla da padrone, tagliatelle con sugo
di cervo, polenta concia e con la carne, dolce, caffe' ed una
quantita' industriale di Genepy, siamo pur sempre in Valle d'Aosta
dove torno volentieri visto che ci ho trascorso il servizio militare.

Al rientro tappa obbligata in una formaggeria per fare il peino di
prodotti caseari della valle.
Il tempo ci ha assistito malgrado che le previsioni fossero non del
tutto favorevoli ma in montagna il tempo puo' cambiare spesso.
Splendida giornata con gli amici di una vita, giornate che non
hanno mai assolutamente prezzo.

With the Villans, always and forever friends (for 41 years)
we organize 3/4 group outings every year, in addition of course to
at least fifteen football matches.
Last Saturday, as we have been doing for some years now, was the
moment of the gypsy in Valle d'Aosta, exactly Val D'Ayas
where one of us has been renting a house for decades.
Some absence, it's impossible to always be there for everyone,
we left in the morning, this round also with some wives al
following.
Once in the valley we went to the usual pitch of the village where
every year we play a mini-match, in the early years we did
this gypsy in July finding some kids in the field with
which to play the game, at the end of May there was only us, single goal and
you play the same.
Among other things, some of us, myself included, had played and won one
game the previous evening, so we also had to fight with
leg pain.
After the training match we went to the restaurant, changing valleys,
above Brusson in a typical Aosta Valley restaurant at the foot of the lifts
re winter ascents.
Ate very well and drank even better, with a mystery
Barbera often nice but going down which was a pleasure.
Various appetizers with spek king, tagliatelle with sauce
of deer, polenta concia and with meat, dessert, coffee and one
industrial quantity of Genepy, we are still in Valle d'Aosta
where I gladly return since I spent my military service there.
On the way back, an obligatory stop in a cheese shop to stock up on
valley dairy products.
The weather assisted us despite the fact that the forecasts were not of the
all favorable but in the mountains the weather can change often.
Wonderful day with friends of a lifetime, days that not
they never have absolutely price.
