Ancora un po' rintronato 🇮🇹🇬🇧

Rientrato da alcuni giorni devo dire che sono ancora un pochino
rintronato.
Erano decenni che non stavo via cosi' tanto, devo ancora smaltire le sei ore di fuso.
Devo dire che subito ho avuto una partita di calcio con cena e relativo rientro a tarda notte, che mi ha sballato ulteriormente il tentativo di dormire con una certa regolarita' vista anche, come
dicevo, la differenza di orario.

Dopo 40 giorni nel Caribe rientrare alla normale vita di un paesino piemontese non e' mai facile, anche in assenza di un rientro immediato al lavoro come in questo caso.
Intanto si spendono un sacco di soldi, ci sono bollette che erano rimaste indietro, il cane da andare a prendere, portarlo dal
veterinario, il mangiare e via discorrendo.
L'iscrizione in palestra, la spesa da fare, un paio di cene, benzina per auto e scooter, altre menate, non te ne accorgi ma gia' diverse centinaia di euro se ne sono andate.

Poi c'e' una stagione da preparare e che inizia ad incombere, altri eventi da organizzare, una casa comunque da gestire.
C'e' il mistero di lasciare la casa piu' o meno in ordine e ritrovarla sporca, per di piu' con un problema idraulico da risolvere, senza che ci abbia, nel frattempo, messo piede nessuno.
Non mi lamento, ci mancherebbe, pero' e' chiaro come il cambio draconiano di stile di vita sia lampante.

Ieri mattina scendo alla Coop di Giaveno mentre in citta' c'era il Carnevale coi carri e tutto il resto.
Un delirio, anche perche' sono situazioni sentite nei paesi ed in piu' a giugno si vota il nuovo sindaco.
Vi ricordate che quello in carica, al secondo mandato, era finito in
ospedale per essere stato preso a martellate in testa da un elettricista di Trana convinto, non so se a torto o a ragione, che il primo cittadino giavenese gli trombasse la moglie, cubana.

Vado alla Coop e tutte le corsie che vendevano alcoolici, vino compreso, chiuse al pubblico...per il Carnevale, a Giaveno...
Capisco fossimo nel Bronx....ma Giaveno.

Having been back for a few days I must say that I'm still a little
dazed.
I haven't been away so much in decades, I still have to work off the six hours of time.
I must say that I immediately had a football match with dinner and a late night return, which made me even more upset by the attempt to sleep with a certain regularity also seen, as
I was saying, the time difference.

After 40 days in the Caribbean, returning to normal life in a small Piedmontese village is never easy, even in the absence of an immediate return to work as in this case.
Meanwhile, a lot of money is spent, there are bills that were left behind, the dog to go get, take it to
veterinary, eating and so on.
Gym membership, shopping to do, a couple of dinners, petrol for cars and scooters, other hassles, you don't realize it but several hundred euros have already gone.

Then there is a season to prepare and which is starting to loom, other events to organize, a house to manage.
There is the mystery of leaving the house more or less in order and finding it dirty, with a plumbing problem to solve, without anyone having set foot in it in the meantime.
I'm not complaining, of course, but it's clear that the draconian change in lifestyle is obvious.

Yesterday morning I went down to the Coop in Giaveno while the Carnival was going on in the city with the floats and everything else.
A delirium, also because these are situations felt in the towns and furthermore in June the new mayor will be voted on.
Do you remember that the one in office, in his second term, ended in
hospital for being hammered in the head by an electrician from Trana who was convinced, I don't know if rightly or wrongly, that the mayor of Giaveno was screwing his Cuban wife.

I see at the Coop and all the aisles that sold alcohol, including wine, closed to the public... for the Carnival, in Giaveno...
I understand we were in the Bronx....but Giaveno.
