Epilogo scontato 🇮🇹🇬🇧

Ricorderete che avevo fatto, un paio di settimane fa, un pezzo riguardante la carcerazione di Cecilia Sala da parte del governo iraniano in ritorsione con l'arresto a Malpensa di un tecnico iraniano, Abedini che vive in Svizzera, a seguito di un mandato di arresto internazionale spiccato dagli Stati Uniti.
Pare che il tecnico lavori a parti di droni utilizzati contro installazioni statunitensi in Giordania, sempre secondo gli statunitensi.

Scrissi che la cosa si sarebbe risolta soltanto se gli americani avrebbero consentito allo "scambio".
La nostra presidente del consiglio, da buona cameriera, si e' recata da Trump per chiedere il permesso, in barba alla presunta sovranita' del nostro paese.
Il tycoon deve aver dato l'ok, due giorni dopo l'Iran libera la nostra giornalista (la sola cosa che veramente ha un valore di tutta la faccenda) quindi come per incanto l'Italia libera il tecnico iraniano che vola subito a Teheran.

Sembrava brutto dire che siamo andati a chiedere il permesso, che tutto si e' sbloccato grazie all'ok di un presidente che e' diventato un pregiudicato ancora prima di insediarsi, quindi Nordio doveva inventarsi qualcosa per giustificare lo scambio.
La versione ufficiale e' che non si puo' estradare qualcuno che non abbia compiuto reati in tutti 2 i paesi.
A prescindere dal fatto che prima gli americani spiccano un mandato di arresto internazionale ma poi però non chiedono l'estradizione.

Visto che il tipo in Italia non ha fatto alcun reato (cosa che sapevano anche i sassi nel momento dell'arresto) si e' fatto finta di negare l'estradizione (mai chiesta) e l'ingegnere ha potuto tornare nel suo paese.
Ora questa buffonata viene fatta passare come un colpo di genio della nostra diplomazia, dei servizi, quando l'epilogo lo avevo scritto persino io che nella vita mi occupo di tutt'altro.
Era troppo facile da prevedere.

OBVIOUS EPILOGUE

You may remember that a couple of weeks ago I wrote a piece about the imprisonment of Cecilia Sala by the Iranian government in retaliation with the arrest in Malpensa of an Iranian technician, Abedini who lives in Switzerland, following an international arrest warrant issued by the United States.
It seems that the technician works on parts of drones used against US installations in Jordan, again according to the Americans.

I wrote that the matter would be resolved only if the Americans would have allowed the "exchange".
Our prime minister, like a good waitress, went to Trump to ask for permission, in defiance of the alleged sovereignty of our country.
The tycoon must have given the ok, two days later Iran frees our journalist (the only thing that really has any value in the whole affair) then as if by magic Italy frees the Iranian technician who immediately flies to Tehran.

It seemed bad to say that we went to ask for permission, that everything was unblocked thanks to the ok of a president who became a criminal even before taking office, so Nordio had to invent something to justify the exchange.
The official version is that you can't extradite someone who hasn't committed crimes in both countries.
Regardless of the fact that first the Americans issue an international arrest warrant but then don't ask for extradition.

Since the guy in Italy hasn't committed any crime (something that even the stones knew at the time of the arrest) they pretended to deny extradition (never requested) and the engineer was able to return to his country.
Now this farce is being passed off as a stroke of genius by our diplomacy, by the secret services, when even I had written the epilogue and I deal with something completely different in life.
It was too easy to predict.
