La scritta che vedete su questo muro, situato da qualche parte a Cuba, la vidi un po' di anni fa su un cartellone esposto sulla strada che dall'aeroporto Jose' Marti' portava nella capitale.
Ora credo che quel cartellone sia stato rimosso o sostituito, e' un peccato perche' la trovo una frase bellissima.

E' indubbio come Cuba abbia sempre dato una grande importanza all'infanzia, come scrissi gia' piu' volte Fidel si spese personalmente perche' tutti i bambini dell'isola potessero avere un minimo di istruzione, cosa che prima del Triunfo de la Revolucion era considerata una chimera.

Senza pero' entrare in discorsi che riguardano la politica basta girare per qualunque barrio cubano per rendersi conto di quanto la gente tuteli i bambini ed i minori in genere.
Se in tal barrio c'e' una madre sola con dei bimbi ed e' in difficolta' economica ci sara' sempre qualcuno che le fara' avere un piatto con qualcosa dentro per se e per i suoi figli, questa cosa continua anche in momenti difficili e complicati che l'isola sta' vivendo come questo.
C'e' poi il discorso dei padri che se ne fregano, lo abbiamo gia' fatto e ci porterebbe troppo lontano.

Ricordiamoci che durante la pandemia il sistema sanitario dell'isola scelse di vaccinare i bambini dai 2 anni in su, unico paese al mondo a fare una scelta cosi' radicale.
Lo fece usando un vaccino autoctono, un vaccino vero non quel punturone stile militare che hanno rifilato a noi.
La scelta di far fare il vaccino anche ai bambini fu fatta proprio per tutelare la parte piu' debole della popolazione, malgrado i costi che ogni vaccino comportava.

Anche nell'attuale difficile momento non vedo mai in giro per l'isola bambini vestiti di stracci o che soffrono di carenze nutritive, poi ci puo' essere qualche strato di popolazione che fatica a tirare avanti ma sicuramente i bambini, da libreta, fino ad 8 anni hanno il loro litro di latte al giorno (se non lo hanno ridotto, spero di no).

Anche l'assistenza alle ragazze in stato interessante prosegue in tutta l'isola a salvaguardia di chi dovra' venire al mondo.
Finardi cantava; "Forse e' vero che Cuba non e' il paradiso, che non vorremo essere in Cina a coltivare riso". Sicuramente non e' il paradiso ma per un bambino resta un buon posto dove nascere soprattutto in comparazione con cio che accade in altri paesi del terzo mondo.

NINGUNO ES CUBANO

The writing you see on this wall, located somewhere in Cuba, I saw a few years ago on a billboard on the road that led from the Jose' Marti' airport to the capital.
Now I think that billboard has been removed or replaced, it's a shame because I think it's a beautiful phrase.

There is no doubt that Cuba has always given great importance to childhood, as I have already written several times, Fidel personally spent himself so that all the children of the island could have a minimum of education, something that before the Triunfo de la Revolucion was considered a chimera.

Without getting into discussions regarding politics, just walk around any Cuban barrio to realize how much people protect children and minors in general.
If in that neighborhood there is a single mother with children and she is in financial difficulty there will always be someone who will give her a plate with something inside for herself and her children, this thing continues even in difficult and complicated moments that the island is experiencing like this.
Then there is the issue of fathers who don't care, we have already done it and it would take us too far.

Let's remember that during the pandemic the island's health system chose to vaccinate children from 2 years old and up, the only country in the world to make such a radical choice.
It did so using an indigenous vaccine, a real vaccine, not that military-style shot they foisted on us.
The choice to have children vaccinated was made precisely to protect the weakest part of the population, despite the costs that each vaccine entailed.

Even in the current difficult moment I never see children dressed in rags or suffering from nutritional deficiencies around the island, then there may be some strata of the population that struggles to get by but surely children, from libreta, up to 8 years old have their liter of milk a day (if they have not reduced it, I hope not).

Also the assistance to pregnant girls continues throughout the island to safeguard those who will have to come into the world.
Finardi sang; "Maybe it's true that Cuba is not paradise, that we don't want to be in China to grow rice". It is certainly not paradise but for a child it is still a good place to be born especially in comparison with what happens in other third world countries.
