TAKING AWAY THE BALL
When we were kids or teenagers in Turin we spent the afternoons playing football in the street or in some green spaces that, at the time, were in the suburbs of the big cities.
One of us carried the ball obviously, if the guy then argued with someone, he was put in goal because he was a loser or was not taken into consideration by his teammates, he took the ball back and went home, leaving us all without a ball and with nothing in our hands.
It seems to me that Beppe Grillo is behaving in exactly the same way.
The toy has turned against him, his friends have turned their backs on him and he wants to take the ball away.
The video filmed inside a hearse (he may be a jerk who has aged badly but he is still the best stage animal there is in Italy) is exactly in line with the example I gave you.
The parliamentarians of the 5 Star Movement have said loud and clear that he is a pain in the ass, that they can't stand him anymore, that he has to get out of their way and he does it by taking away (or trying to do so) his name and symbol, that is, the ball.
Yet another episode that shows how Italian politics, which incidentally interests me like a Povia song, no longer knows how to distinguish real comedians (Grillo) from involuntary comedians (Salvini).
We are in the hands of these people.
