Ci mancano solo 4 censori rimbambiti che mi debbano dire cosa ascoltare e cosa no.

TONY EFFE
Let's talk about music again...even though music, at least for me, is something else.
I followed the controversy surrounding Tony Effe and his participation, later cancelled, at the Rome concert on December 31st.
In the meantime I had to understand who this character is, I listened to 10 seconds of one of his "songs" then I moved on, but that's not the point.
Tony Effe had been invited to the concert organized by the municipality of Rome led by Gualtieri, especially to attract a young audience since it seems that the guy is liked by kids.
Then some members of the PD, which governs the city, realized that his lyrics are borderline and made sure that the invitation was withdrawn.
Two mistakes in all of this.
The first is inviting a singer (who I wouldn't listen to even under torture but it's right that there are those who think differently) and then withdrawing the invitation, raising a fuss from which the singer took advantage so much that he booked the Palaeur for two nights in those days that will be sold out, also because of the media fuss of the whole affair.
The second mistake is an old mistake.
Who decides what people should listen to or not?
Who are the "censors" (Bennato would say) who arrogate to themselves the right to say that this is right and that is wrong?
If a text does not violate the laws why should it be censored even if, as in all songs of the type in question, it is a shit text?
They say it is uneducational, but they also said the same about (no comparison...for goodness sake) Guccini, Gaber, Vasco, Finardi, Skiantos, Squallor and many others.
Every era has had its censors, could a song like Watussi still be written today?
Or is it Alfredo's fault by Vasco, Ti pretendo by Raf, Lilly by Venditti, many songs by Gaber by De Andre'...
So the guy makes shitty music but if there are people who like it why stop him from singing by giving him visibility that he would never have had otherwise?
It's not just the music that we like that should be played.
A couple of weeks ago I published the list of the 10 most listened to Italian songs according to Spotify, in my humble opinion they were all crap but if they have their audience it's right that the radios play them and people go to their concerts.
All we need are 4 idiotic censors who have to tell me what to listen to and what not to.
The only positive thing is that it seems that at the concert on December 31st they called PFM as a replacement.
They may be vintage but at least they are people who know how to play as God commands.
