"Tu" e "Lei" 🇮🇹🇬🇧

Il giorno dell'insediamento del nuovo governo italiano fece notizia
il fatto che la Meloni si sia rivolta ad un neo parlamentare del centro sinistra di colore col “tu”.
Le fecero subito notare la cosa, lei si scusio' e la cosa non ebbe ulteriori sviluppi.
Pero' la Meloni si sarebbe rivolta col “tu” se il parlamentare fosse
stato non di colore?
E' uso fra i parlamentari di lungo corso anche di schieramenti
differenti darsi del “tu”, ma con uno nuovo solitamente si evita.

Questa cosa mi e' tornata in mente qualche giorno fa, dovevo
acquistare alcune cose per la casa, sono entrato in un negozio di cinesi a Giaveno, al bancone c'era un signora, ovviamente cinese, sui 45/50 anni, suppongo, perche' faccio molta fatica a dare un'eta' agli orientali.
Mi sono accorto di averle, spontaneamente e senza pensarci
troppo, dato del “tu”, il fatto della lingua non regge perche' parlava bene l'italiano.
Se avessi trovato una signora italiana di quell'eta' dietro al bancone avrei usato lo stesso approccio o sarei partito col “lei”?

A mia discolpa, ammesso che esista una fantomatica colpa, c'e' da
dire che io vivo nel mondo del “tu”.
In palestra azzardo il “lei” soltanto con persone di una certa eta',
sono loro stesse a chiedermi quasi subito di passare al “tu”.
Nei villaggi turistici neanche a parlarne di dare del “lei”.
In piu' dimostrando meno di cio' che dice l'anagrafe mi ritrovo spesso davanti a gente, anche al di fuori dei miei contesti che parte subito dandomi del “tu”.

Qualcuno dietro a questo tipo di confidenza, riferito a persone di
colore o di altre etnie, ci vede una qualche forma di razzismo
strisciante, come se si trattasse di persone di seconda o terza
categoria con cui rapportarsi nel modo piu' diretto, a volte, meno
rispettoso, possibile.
Puo' essere.
Per quanto mi riguarda nulla di tutto questo, col “tu” usato nel modo giusto creo subito una empatia, fondamentale per il mio lavoro.

In the gym I risk the "she" only with people of a certain age,

color or other ethnicity, sees some form of racism in it
