Living in a fallout shelter can be incredibly lonely and boring. In such times, the best companion is someone dependable, submissive, quiet, eats half as much, low maintenance, and undeniably adorable – a dog.

Girlfriends or any other complicated relationships can often do more harm than good; worse, they might even jeopardize your chances of survival. Keep it simple – just bring a dog, okay?

Hence, along with the necessary supplies, never forget to bring a dog with you. It’s not just practical – it might be the best decision you ever make. Completely stress-free.

Completamente senza stress.

eats half as much...

It depends on the dog ;-)))

Completely stress-free.

It depends on the dog ;-)))

You got me good there.😅 I would’ve argued for a Chihuahua, but let’s be honest—they’re little spawns of satan, so “completely stress-free” would still be impossible.

What about you? What would you want as your companion in a situation like this?

I would have answered you for 52 years of my life that I would be alone at best, no matter how bad the situation. I like being alone, have a hard time tolerating people around me (social phobia) and yes, an animal wouldn't bother me per se - means extra responsibility of course.
Since I met my partner over 7 years ago, the answer would be: I need @ty-ty by my side. He calms me down when I'm heading towards panic and builds me up when I get discouraged. Besides, he knows everything better by nature ;-))

Chihuahuas are little fighters with big hearts; it's an injustice to carry them through life in a handbag...

I'm glad you have someone you can lean on. I believe it's one of life's greatest miracles—a companion who's always by your side and knows his way around things.

I, too, like being alone. I think I liked being alone too much that's why my lover left me. Crazy, right? Although I'm happy on my own, I admit it gets a tad lonely at times.

Also, you're blessed with a long life. Is it true that life starts at 40? (I know it's ridiculous, but I think there’s a little truth to that.) Because I can't really see myself at 40—I'm even surprised I'm nearing 30. Maybe I just didn’t want to live that long.

I don't like Chihuahuas; they're too aggressive for their size, and I find Dobermans much cuter than them.😅

I have never dealt with questions of age. I feel good, certainly younger than many of my peers... And, when I think about it: I don't want to be young again. The time back then doesn't seem worthwhile to me, stumbling through the world so inexperienced and naive. Of course, if I could look like I'm 25 with all the wisdom I have today... ;-)) Joking! I wouldn't want that either. I'm really quite happy with the status quo.

Truth be told, you sounded much younger but full of wisdom - no joke! At first, I thought you were in your mid-30s, probably because of the youthful aura conveyed in your writings.

Oh, a Prince Charming ;-))) I guess I was never a carefree and unselfconscious child, but I'll never be a stuffy and bitter old woman either ;-)) Just let me know if I show any signs of it ;-))

I don't need to; you're pretty solid. And if it does happen, I wouldn't mind anyway ;-))

If it comes to it everyone has social-phobia especially the loudest species among humankind. Finding peace is the key (that little finger in the handbag might be less noisy and nervous but a dog is a dog and should live that way.

🍀♥️
