I don't normally portray celebrities but in this case I made an exception. This famous actress, for many years one of the most important Hollywood actresses, has very particular somatic features and so I chose to make a drawing of her.
With this actress I have memories that go back almost 25 years ago. In the height of my adolescence, this young actress, too, was the protagonist of a series of flims carried out over the years; it is the combative Lara Croft in Tomb Raider and the bond I have with this is one of the first console games that I am incredibly passionate about in those years. I admit that she as actresses is not my favorite but I remember her positively with this anecdote. The console game, towards the end of the nineties was still very immature in terms of graphics, but, in proportion to the time, at that time it was something fantastic. A game of adventure, fighting and a lot of history and archeology, made me incredibly passionate as a lover of the mysteries of the past. Sometimes, although some actors don't particularly like them, it's amazing how the choice of them can make them and forge them as icons because the character they play is clearly perfect for them, as if they were really like that in everyday life. Also for this reason I believe that a boy like me in those days founds that fantasy of related films or video games and consequently identifies actors and actresses as icons and characters from which to draw lessons.

There is something magical that is created in pre-adolescence until almost adulthood and to experience the same sensations thinking about the past and focusing on the memories that we realize that this magical thread accompanies us and maintains that ounce of lightheartedness and illusion of a world that does not exist as if it were real and that within us somehow keeps us hopeful and still able to believe in something that feeds the magic within us.

Normalmente non ritraggo celebrità ma in questo caso ho fatto un'eccezione. Questa famosa attrice, ormai da molti anni tra le più importanti attrici di Hollywood ha dei tratti somatici molto particolari e quindi ho scelto di farne un disegno.
Con questa attrice ho dei ricordi che risalgono quasi a 25 anni fa. Nel pieno della mia adolescenza, questa attrice, giovane anche lei è stata protagonista di una serie di film portati avanti negli anni; si tratta della combattiva Lara Croft in Tomb Raider ed il legame che ho con questo riguarda uno dei primi giochi da console al quale mi sono appassionato incredibilmente in quegli anni. Ammetto che lei come attrici non è la mia preferita ma la ricordo positivamente con questo aneddoto. Il gioco da console, verso la fine degli anni novanta era ancora molto acerbo a livello grafico, ma, proporzionalmente al tempo, in quel periodo era qualcosa di fantastico. Un gioco di avventura, combattimenti e molta storia e archeologia, mi hanno fatto appassionare incredibilmente da amante dei misteri del passato. A volte, nonostante qualche attore non piaccia particolarmente, è incredibile come la scelta degli stessi può renderli e forgiarli come icone perché il personaggio che interpretano è palesemente perfetto per loro, come se fossero veramente così nella vita di tutti i giorni. Anche per questo credo che un ragazzo come me a quei tempi fonda quella fantasia dei film o dei videogiochi collegati e identifica di conseguenza attori e attrici come icone e personaggi da cui trarre insegnamenti.

C'è un qualcosa di magico che si crea nella pre-adolescenza fino quasi all'età adulta e provare le stesse sensazioni pensando al passato e concentrandosi sui ricordi che ci si accorge che questo filo magico ci accompagna e mantiene quel briciolo di spensieratezza e illusione di un mondo che non esiste come fosse reale e che dentro di noi, in qualche modo ci mantiene speranzosi e capaci ancora di credere in qualcosa che alimenta la magia dentro di noi.
