Mentre arrivano notizie di Paypal che vuole creare la sua stablecoin, chiamata PayPal Coin Rif.; Samsung che lancia un negozio virtuale su Decentraland, la replica del punto vendita fisico di Washington Street Rif.; Il Governo del Salvador che vuole emettere i propri Bitcoin bond, fornendo un'idonea struttura legale per tutelarne i possessori Rif.; Airbnb, colosso nel settore turistico degli affitti privati, che sta già lavorando al progetto di accettare criptovalute sul suo portale Rif.; e tante altre notizie positive legate alle crypto, la policy interna di Unicredit vietano relazioni con controparti emittenti valute virtuali o che agiscono da piattaforme di scambio.

Adesso mi chiedo se questo sia il modo di porsi verso i propri clienti che al di fuori di Unicredit dovrebbero essere liberi di fare le proprie scelte.
I sistemi bancari che non vogliono avere a che fare con le criptovalute possono scegliere di non offrirle tra i loro servizi, ma la presunzione di penalizzare i clienti che investono sugli asset digitali addirittura con la chiusura del conto in banca, la trovo fuori luogo e spropositata.
Soprattutto è necessario essere trasparenti e comunicare anticipatamente ai propri clienti eventuali politiche aziendali, così che saranno liberi di scegliere di chiudere o meno il proprio conto.
Alcune volte mi sembra di vivere nel medioevo.
Il mondo va avanti e nel nostro paese accadono cose del genere.
Ma per fortuna noi cittadini-utenti-consumatori una cosa la possiamo fare.. scegliere.

Now I wonder if this is the way to behave towards their customers who outside of Unicredit should be free to make their own choices.
Banking systems that don't want to deal with cryptocurrencies can choose not to offer them as part of their services, but the presumption to penalize customers who invest in digital assets even by closing their bank accounts, I find misplaced and disproportionate.
Above all, you need to be transparent and communicate any company policies to your customers in advance, so they will be free to choose whether or not to close their account.

Semplicemente nel nostro paese i dirigenti sono vecchi, chi ha potere è vecchio e purtroppo non ha una visione del futuro e rimane ancorato alla confort zone del passato.
Ma chi non si adegua scomparirà.. questa è l'unica consolazione. ;-)

Unicredit non è mai stata famosa per la lungimiranza e la predisposizione verso l'innovazione.
Come ogni volta arriverà in ritardo e approfitterà dell'esperienza degli altri.
Sono certo che entro 5 anni non solo cambierà idea ma proporrà prodotti finanziari rivolti alle crypto in modo da fare concorrenza agli altri grandi gruppi bancari.

Io penso che prima o poi ci sarà un ricambio generazionale ai vertici di queste grandi aziende e istituti bancari e per forza di cose ci sarà un cambiamento. Il problema è che come sempre arriveremo tardi rispetto agli altri paesi.. ;-)

Mah! Forse pensano di essere negli anni 70/80… vietano agli altri di comprare così lo comprano solo loro e poi lo rivendono… ma devono un attimo rivedere questa strategia obsoleta e completamente fuori strada.
