Lately I have been thinking a lot about my "personal branding", it is something I care a lot about and that I have been trying to launch for a long time.

It is certainly not recognizable by everyone but now, at least locally, in my area they recognize my logo, my avatar and the hashtag that I have associated with my brand.

The avatar is also recognized by some poker player friends around Italy since it is the one I have always used during my poker activity; anyway for completeness of information I insert it here so that it is visible...

I had both the logo and the Avatar fixed by a graphic designer and now they are in high resolution; in the upper part you can read the Hashtag, the suit of the cards is spades and the avatar has in his hand what has over time become my favorite starting end, AQ of spades.

Below you can also see the logo that I used for the site and that I have on my business cards and also on a ring that I wear on the ring finger of my right hand...

I have noticed that many Social Media Managers work mainly on social media to launch the personal branding of their clients or even their staff.

As far as I'm concerned, I continue to use classic social media, my favorite is definitely Instagram but I also use Facebook and I've landed on TikTok (which I would like to try to use better), I also have a Youtube channel that is currently stopped.

Of course, I also take care of my personal branding on the web3 in fact I have two blogs, as you know.
Personally, I have always thought that the basic tool for personal communication should be the blog, social media have their importance but could disappear from one day to the next.

It is unlikely but it can happen, just think of Myspace!

Precisely for this reason I thought of re-establishing a classic blog; I currently own the domain www.p1k4ppa10.com to which I have pointed the blog that I have "on the other side of the river".

I have decided that I will fix my old Blog on wordpress and then I will upgrade to the Pro plan so that I can change its graphic design and then I will use the domain in my possession to make it the official address.

Of course, once this is done, I will make social media work to bring visitors to what will be my main and personal blog.
In the old one I had also created a kind of shop with Hooplix; I would like to create some products to sell in a shop connected to the site, obviously all products in "print on demand".

Obviously this thing of the shop is not my main thought, but I have to understand which service to use; it must be qualitatively high and must be able to interact with woocommerce.

I certainly will not make big profits with the sales of gadgets or maybe with the advertising that I will integrate into the blog but it does not matter, the goal is not that, especially in this first launch phase.

Of course, if in the end between advertising and some sales I managed to at least repay the subscription to Wordpress Pro it would not be bad; I have always been for self-sustaining investments.

I still consider the blog an investment, it could give a return in money and I certainly would not throw it away but, in the long run, the return I want to have is in image and above all in the diffusion of my personal branding.

I thought about re-adapting some of the old posts that are perfect for a personal blog, of course I will have to work on them a bit, especially from the SEO point of view but I am sure that in the end I will get my satisfaction.

I still don't know when it will actually be online, even if I hope to be able to throw it to the big web by Christmas.

My plan is to fix all the posts and insert them into the blog as drafts, to upgrade to the pro version so that I can use a much more professional graphic design than the one there is now and from that moment put everything online scheduling the release of the contents.

I also have to figure out how many times to publish, I would have material to publish every day even for more than a year but I don't think I would be able to maintain this pace afterwards; the right compromise in my opinion is to publish 3 times a week, for example I was thinking of doing it on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and as for the time I was thinking of 10 in the morning.

I chose the days because I "like" them and I like the thought that the reader starts the week reading a post of mine and then on Friday another post of mine accompanies him to the long-awaited weekend; as for the time, 10 is my number and it is present in my Hashtags and in addition some statistics show that the peak of views is at 11 in the morning.

The typical "two birds with one stone" situation!

Well now I'll stop here, there is a lot of work to do and little time.
Just think that I even gave up on watching the match (actually I didn't even find it in streaming), no big deal I'll watch the highlights later.

Un buon blogger non si prende mai troppo sul serio: sa che mentre scrive sta anche giocando, che racconta sempre una favola anche quando si tratta della storia “più vera” che abbia mai scritto e che prima di scrivere qualsiasi articolo dovrà chiedersi per quale motivo qualcuno dovrebbe leggerlo.

Ultimamente ho riflettuto molto sul mio "personal branding", è qualcosa alla quale tengo tanto e che provo a lanciare da parecchio.

Non è certo riconoscibile da tutti ma ormai, quantomeno a livello locale, dalle mie parti riconoscono il mio logo, il mio avatar e l'hashtag che ho associato al mio brand.

L'avatar lo riconosce anche qualche amico giocatore di poker in giro per l'Italia visto che è quello che ho sempre usato durante la mia attività pokeristica; comunque per completezza di info lo inserisco qui in modo che sia visibile...

Ho fatto sistemare da un grafico sia il logo che l'Avatar e ora sono in alta risoluzione; nella parte superiore si può leggere l'Hashtag, il seme delle carte è picche è l'avatar ha in mano quella che è col tempo diventata la mia starting end preferita, AQ di picche.

Di seguito puoi vedere anche il logo che ho utilizzato per il sito e che ho sui bigliettini da visita e anche su un anello che porto all'anulare della mano destra...

Ho notato che molti Social Media Manager lavorano prettamente sui social per lanciare il personal branding dei loro clienti o anche il loro personale.

Proprio per questo ho pensato di rimettere in piedi un blog classico; attualmente possiedo il dominio www.p1k4ppa10.com al quale ho puntato il blog che ho "dall'altra parte del fiume".

Ho deciso che sistemerò il mio vecchio Blog su wordpress e dopo farò l'upgrade al piano Pro in modo da potergli cambiare la veste grafica e poi utilizzerò il dominio in mio possesso per farlo diventare l'indirizzo ufficiale.

Naturalmente fatto ciò farò lavorare i social per fare approdare visitatori su quello che sarà il mio blog principale e personale.
In quello vecchio avevo anche realizzato una specie di shop con Hooplix; mi piacerebbe realizzare qualche prodotto da vendere in uno shop collegato al sito, naturalmente tutti prodotti in "print on demand".

Ovviamente questa cosa dello shop non è il mio pensiero principale, devo però capire quale servizio usare; deve essere qualitativamente alto e deve poter interagire con woocommerce.

Sicuramente non farò grandi guadagni con le vendite di gadget o magari con le pubblicità che integrerò nel blog ma non importa, l'obiettivo non è quello, soprattutto in questa prima fase di lancio.

Certo, se alla fine tra pubblicità e qualche vendita riuscissi a ripagare quantomeno l'abbonamento a Wordpress Pro non sarebbe male; sono sempre stato per l'autosostentamento degli investimenti.

Il blog lo considero comunque un investimento, potrebbe dare un ritorno in denari e certamente non li butterei ma, alla lunga, il ritorno che desidero avere è in immagine e soprattutto nella diffusione del mio personal branding.

Ho pensato di riadattare alcuni dei vecchi post che sono perfetti per un blog personale, certo dovrò lavorarci un po' su, soprattutto dal punto di vista della SEO ma sono certo che alla fine otterrò le mie soddisfazioni.

Ancora non so quando sarà affettivamente online, anche se spero entro Natale di poterlo gettare in pasto alla grande rete.

Il mio progetto è quello di sistemare tutti i post e inserirli nel blog come bozze, di fare l'Upgrade alla versione pro in modo da poter utilizzare una veste grafica molto più professionale rispetto quella che c'è ora e da quel momento mettere tutto online scadenzando l'uscita dei contenuti.

Devo anche capire quante volte uscire, avrei materiale per pubblicare tutti giorni anche per più di un anno ma non credo che riuscirei a mantenere in seguito questi ritmo; il giusto compromesso secondo me è pubblicare 3 volte a settimana, pensavo ad esempio di farlo lunedì, mercoledì e venerdì e come orario pensavo alle 10 del mattino.

I giorni li ho scelti perché mi "garbano" e mi piace il pensiero che il lettore inizi la settimana leggendo un mio post e che poi il venerdì sempre un mio post lo accompagni al tanto sospirato week end; per quel che riguarda l'orario il 10 è il mio numero ed è presente nei miei Hashtag e in più alcune statistiche dimostrano che il picco di visualizzazioni si ha alle 11 del mattino.

Bene ora mi fermo qui, il lavoro da fare è parecchio e il tempo è poco.
Pensa che ho rinunciato anche a vedere la partita (in realtà non l'ho nemmeno trovata in streaming), poco male vedrò più tardi gli highlights.
