In my country (and generally in the bigs of Mercosur), there is the role of the scholar psychologist (not the psychologist all of us know, but separate studies are followed, even existing many similarities) to detect where the student's weakness come from and how to deal with them. Pitifully, only among a few areas this role is well established. Average people isn't interested to education or they are too poor to pay for extra services. I'm a scholar psychologist, but I hardly can work as a teacher...
