This photo, taken just a handful of days ago, in my opinion expresses all the Labron spirit. As you may already know, this word comes from the Latin, it is found for the first time in a writing by Cicero and it indicates a port in the Tyrrhenian area corresponding (later) to the port of Livorno. For this reason, Leghorns (citizens of Livorno) are also called Labrons.

Leghorns love the sea, freedom and idleness. If the day isn't that great but it's not raining, the real Labrons go to the beach. If it was raining before but then the sun comes out, go to the sea. If it hasn't started raining yet and the weather is uncertain, go to the beach. If it rains heavily, you go to see the promenade. If it's late winter and it's too cold to go to the beach, take a walk along the sea.

This photo in my opinion perfectly expresses this attachment to the sea.
You can see the clouds on the horizon, and the sea is rough because the day was bad and very windy, but on the beach, any beach in the Antignano area, people are comfortably lying down to sunbathe, because losing a tan is almost a sense of guilt.
On the horizon it is possible to admire the Mascagni terrace and further back the port with its lighthouse.

Questa foto, scattata giusto una manciata di giorni fa, esprime a mio avviso tutto lo spirito labronico. Come forse già saprete, questa parola viene dal latino, si trova per la prima volta in uno scritto di Cicerone ed indica un porto della zona tirrenica corrispondente (in seguito) al porto di Livorno. Per questa ragione i livornesi si chiamano anche labronici.

I livornesi amano il mare, la libertà e l'ozio. Se la giornata non è un gran che ma non piove, i veri labronici vanno al mare. Se prima stava piovendo ma poi esce il sole, si va al mare. Se non ha ancora iniziato a piovere ed il tempo è incerto, si va al mare. Se piove forte si va a vedere il lungo mare. Se è inverno inoltrato e fa troppo freddo per andare al mare, si passeggia lungo mare.

Questa foto a mio avviso esprime perfettamente questo attaccamento al mare.
Si vedono le nuvole all'orizzonte, e il mare è mosso perché la giornata era bruttina e molto ventosa, ma sulla spiaggia, una qualsiasi spiaggia nella zona di Antignano, le persone sono comodamente sdraiate a prendere il sole, perché perdere l'abbronzatura è quasi un senso di colpa.
All'orizzonte è invece possibile ammirare la terrazza Mascagni e più indietro ancora il porto con il suo faro.
