Last weekend, I went to a golf course. It was because there was a graduate school alumni golf competition. I woke up early in the morning, got ready, and left for the golf course. The golf course I went to was called 'Sky Valley CC', located in Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and it was owned by a construction company where my senior at the graduate school work. I heard that our golf competition was sponsored by that construction company. When I arrived, the clubhouse was wonderful.
We all changed into golf uniforms and gathered at the departure point and took a group photo. The leftmost side of the picture is me. :)
After loading golf bags into golf carts, we finally moved to set off for the game. It felt great because the weather was really sunny!
After finishing 9 of the 18 holes in total, we gathered at a restaurant a.k.a "Shade House" and enjoyed a quick snack. We ordered chicken at the table where I sat, and it tasted better because I ate it in the middle of sport.
After all the games, we got back together in the lobby of the clubhouse after taking a shower and changing clothes. The view outside of window was truly great.
We all moved to a nearby restaurant to have a late lunch together. And we had an award ceremony based on the results of the game. I also got gifts from my professor because I won first place in one category. It was an electric wine opener and golf balls, and I really liked them.
This golf trip was a very meaningful experience. I got to know many seniors and plan to continue to interact with them. It will be also very helpful for my work. I'm already looking forward to the next graduate school alumni golf competition. That's it for my golf course trip. I hope you all have a great and happy day today. Thank you!^^☆
