📣 Community Announcement 📣 STEEM-RETROGAMES February Curators Team [ENG-ITA]

I asked around and the topic of the comment contest Monkey Business_ is: gaming on Steemit in SBL. I notice a large group talking about being addictive (or they were in the past) as in no interest in anything else and they said they would never play again.

Can you make it a #diginnasio topic health x gaming or eye sight x gaming? The Italian community is a different group although mainly male but it's good to hear what the thoughts are.

BTW, if no one knows about the game prizes don't matter and if 90% uses a phone it won't help either because they will not buy a PC to play a game with a chance to win.

I will ask in the new Monkey Business if people use a PC or phone.

I notice a difference if it comes to the topic "gaming" I had a few weeks earlier where it was said it's bad for children, lack of social skills but on the other hand also was said that one can learn languages through gaming or other skills.

My son made it work and I tried as well.
I noticed that although one can simply sit and wait till the aliens are right above the "missile" to fire (and drink tea using the other hand 🙂) more activity especially of the eyes is needed if more aliens drop. If you ask me this is a plus of this game. No staring at the screen but eye movement which is what eye doctors also say is good for those working behind screens and children with a lazy eye (amblyopia - see here 2025 news which is since at least 10+ years used (also for adults though in this case the results are not as they hoped for since it is a brain issue).

Addiction is hard to fight and I understand the fear of those who have been there.

I believe if it comes to this game the main issue is that most don't know it exists.
The fact an SCteam upvotes is something nearly no one knows. Why not? Because 98% of the Steemians never reads these reports and they don't care. If you ask me a good thing since it rarely attracts those doing it because they like it.

Next it is Whalevault which will limit a group using keychain. It seems that both extenses downloaded is problematic @ adeljose remarked access via keychain would be a plus.

I wonder if you can count the free players to see if there is an increasement of players and if you can see if it is from outside of Steemit

It is great if a game attracts new Steemians but before that happens there should be players and reviews and a wider offer which you are working on.

A retrogame might not be interesting to everyone but it is to those who remember these games and who love the "old days" (must be a large group since vintage is hot).

I will see if I can find some gamers who like to try it out and if eye movement makes it a great break for those living behind screens.
Moderators and curators with eye infections for example. I hear more than one complain.

P. S. The buying a token might be a problem as but I did not try and adeljose saud why he didn't.
