Boxabl Inc. is an American company designed for the construction of housing and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
BOXABL's mission is to revolutionize the standards of home construction with an innovative and technological solution for the mass production of houses through advanced industrial production processes.
Lately the name of this company has also been heard in Italy especially after the presentation of the "La Casita" project in collaboration with Elon Musk.
"La casita" is a prefabricated structure of just under 40 square meters. It is basically a structure that once packaged can be transported by truck. Once the structure arrives at its destination it can be unpacked and assembled.
Currently this 37 square meter mini house costs $50,000.
Production is limited and to date this idea represents a sort of first attempt at low-cost modular housing.

This idea of ​​a prefabricated house in my opinion has enormous potential throughout the world. Let's try to think of transporting this project to Italy. A couple who wants to live together to have a house should buy a piece of building land and then build a house on it. The cost of the entire operation could even be around 700,000 euros. With the BOXABL prefabricated house the most expensive cost would be that of purchasing the land and not that of the house. I would also consider the price. The current price of a 37 square meter BOXABL home costs $50,000 today, but the product is produced in very few copies. If production were to increase, the cost of "La casita" could also drop by 50% and reach a price of $25,000. Which means that with $50,000 in 5 years you could also buy two 37 square meter modules.
In fact, the future mission of BOXABL is precisely that of being able to connect other housing modules to the first housing module.

Considerazioni
Boxabl Inc. è una società americana ideata per la costruzione di alloggi ed ha sede a Las Vegas, in Nevada.
La missione di BOXABL è quella di rivoluzionare gli standard di costruzione delle abitazioni con una soluzione innovativa e tecnologica per la produzione in serie di case mediante processi di produzione industriali avanzati.
Ultimamente il nome di questa azienda si è sentito anche in Italia soprattutto dopo la presentazione del progetto “La Casita” in collaborazione con Elon Musk.
"La casita" è una struttura prefabbricata di poco meno di 40 metri quadri. Praticamente è una struttura che una volta impacchetta può essere trasportata con un camion. Una volta che la struttura arriva a destinazione può essere spacchettata e montata.
Attualmente questa mini casa da 37 metri quadrati costa 50.000$.
La produzione è limitata e ad oggi questa idea rappresenta una sorta di primo tentativo di alloggio modulare a basso costo.
La superficie può sembrare ridotta, ma attenzione perché la qualità di coibentazione è alta. L'alloggio stesso ed il suo design sono di qualità.
Questa casa prefabbricata dal design flessibile potrebbe segnare un cambiamento radicale nel modo di costruire le abitazioni.
La sfida che vuole affrontare questo progetto è soprattutto l'abbattimento dei costi delle abitazioni.
Musk stesso sostiene che tantissimi statunitensi tra non molto non potranno comprare una casa di proprietà per l'alto costo di queste.

Considerazioni personali
Questa idea di casa prefabbricata a mio avviso ha un enorme potenziale in tutto il mondo. Proviamo a pensare di trasportare questo progetto in italia. Un coppia che vuole andare ad abitare insieme per avere una casa dovrebbe acquistare un pezzo di terreno edificabile e costruirci poi sopra una casa. Il costo dell’intera operazione potrebbe anche aggirarsi sui 700.000 euro. Con la casa prefabbricata BOXABL il costo più oneroso sarebbe quello dell’acquisto del terreno e non quello dell’abitazione. Inoltre farei un ragionamento sul prezzo. Il prezzo attuale di 37 metri quadrati di abitazione BOXABL costano oggi 50.000$, ma il prodotto è fabbricato in pochissimi esemplari. Se la produzione dovesse aumentare il costo de “La casita” potrebbe anche abbattersi del 50% ed arrivare ad un prezzo di 25.000$. Il che significa che con 50.000$ tra 5 anni si potrebbero anche acquistare due moduli da 37 metri quadrati.
Infatti la missione futura di BOXABL è proprio quella di poter allacciare altri moduli abitativi al primo modulo abitativo.

Conclusioni
Il risultato che ha ottenuto BOXABL con questo progetto di casa prefabbricata mi sembra molto interessante e potrà permettere a tante persone di avere un’abitazione propria.
