Fog (Italy-Verona)
On February 18th I was traveling in Veneto, more precisely near Verona. At a certain point the fog became thick and we had to proceed slowly along the road.
Perhaps in some areas of the world fog has never been seen, while I confirm that in Italy this meteorological phenomenon exists.
Fog is formed because the water vapor contained in an air mass reaches saturation and the excess part begins to condense. At this point, very small drops of water suspended in the air form in the air.

One of the things I have learned recently is that solid particles suspended in the air can be condensation nuclei for water and for this reason in areas where polluting emissions are greater, for example urban areas, fogs are more frequent.

I have always liked fog because it brings down a veil of mystery, but I like it a little less if I have to drive the car.
The fog is something that lies in between mystery and nostalgia.
The storm, the wind, the hail are furious, strong and intense events, while I believe that fog is the most delicate atmospheric phenomenon, the only one that hides things and nature without making them disappear completely.

Nebbia (Italia-Verona)
Il 18 febbraio ero in viaggio in Veneto, più precisamente dalle parti di Verona. Ad un certo punto la nebbia si è fatta fitta e bisognava procedere lentamente per la strada.
Forse in alcune zone del mondo la nebbia non è stata mai vista, mentre confermo che in Italia questo fenomeno meteorologico esiste.
La nebbia si forma perché il vapore acqueo contenuto in una massa d’aria raggiunge la saturazione e la parte in eccesso inizia a condensare. A questo punto si formano in aria piccolissime gocce d'acqua sospese in aria.

Una delle cose che ho imparato ultimamente è che le particelle solide sospese in aria possono essere dei nuclei di condensazione per l’acqua e per questo motivo nelle aree dove le emissioni inquinanti sono maggiori, esempio le zone urbane, le nebbie sono più frequenti.

La nebbia a me è sempre piaciuta perchè fa scendere un velo di mistero, ma mi piace un pochino meno se devo guidare la macchina.
La nebbia è qualcosa che sta nel mezzo tra il mistero e la nostalgia.
La tempesta, il vento, la grandine sono eventi furiosi, forti ed intensi, mentre io credo che la nebbia sia il fenomeno atmosferico più delicato, l’unico che nasconde le cose e la natura senza farle scomparire totalmente.
